[05:00] jbicha, gnome-shell http://pastebin.com/mxmu5LMH [05:00] and mutter incase you missed it earlier http://pastebin.com/UEatwuvt [07:42] hi, is that possible to download ubuntu gnome remix 13.04 beta now? if so, where is the download link? thanks. [08:34] sgo11, not quite yet [08:36] darkxst, ok. thanks for your reply. [08:36] sgo11, you can build your own with this script, https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-gnome-dev/+junk/iso-build-script/ [08:37] darkxst, got it. thanks. [08:37] or install raring beta and follow the upgrade steps in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/ReleaseNotes/12.10 [08:39] ok. :) [08:42] we should have daily images, at some point, now that things are official, but no idea how long they will take to get set up === smartboyhw-m is now known as smartboyhw [16:16] jbicha: I've read some conflicting things about 13.04 - is it going to have 3.6 or 3.8 included by default? [16:19] gonyere: 13.04 will have 3.6, we updated games and calculator but almost everything else is 3.6 [16:19] k, is/will there be an easy way to get 3.8? [16:21] https://launchpad.net/~gnome3-team/+archive/gnome3 [16:29] cool :) any thoughts on the current stability of 13.04 ? good, decent, awful? [16:59] gonyere: I think 13.04 is more stable than 12.10 but there's 3 caveats: [17:00] 1. It's still Alpha 2. Tomorrow is Feature Freeze which means there's a tendency for developers to push not-quite-finished stuff so that they don't have to wait 6 more months [17:01] 3. There's a proposal to turn Raring into a daily release and currently there's little protection against one bad upload breaking things [17:02] not too big of a deal if you're the kind of a person that already runs Ubuntu alphas but otherwise it's unclear yet [22:43] jbicha, is there some reason why we dont have an updated GOA in the PPA? [22:46] darkxst: I don't think so, I'm guessing we want it staging though [22:47] jbicha, ok, I will update it
