[17:49] hello, does lubuntu comes with a menu editor? [17:50] just like alacarte or something similar === Dantas_ is now known as Ormus [18:12] The first time through the lubuntu installer, it gave me the option to use the advanced partitioner, after I elected to encrypt the installation and use LVM. On that installation, my password didn't go through correctly, perhaps because I chose the dvorak keyboard layout. Going through the installer again, it's no longer giving me the option to use the advanced partitioner after I elect encryption, it's just asking me for a [18:12] key, and instead of the "Next" button, there's "Install now." This concerns me because I want to install on /dev/sdb, and I'm worried it's going to go straight to installing on /dev/sda, and blow away what I currently have there. How can I work around this? [18:13] coventry: there is no way to setup lvm in advanced partitioning. [18:13] coventry: you can setup encryption in both automatic and advanced partitioning. [18:14] xnox: Thanks, how do I do that in advanced partitioning? [18:14] coventry: it will ask you for /dev/sdb or /dev/sda [18:15] coventry: but it's best to unplug precious hard-drives ;-) when formatting stuff [18:15] Oh, yeah, that'll work. :-) Thanks. [18:49] skyblues rock :D [18:56] blueskies also [18:59] leoquant, skyblues are the nickname for coventry city fc [18:59] * zleap is kind assuming coventry is from coventry [18:59] kind of [18:59] ah! [18:59] ツ [19:00] :) [19:00] * zleap is also from coventry originally [19:04] No, not from Coventry, it's my surname. Never heard of skyblues before. Good to know, though. [19:05] ok cool [19:05] :) [19:19] the lxle distro is tentatively off the ground today.... thanks everyone for all your help === IboS_ is now known as IboS
