It works fine for the most part, but my post-start script hangs forever, and basically makes it so I can't do anything with the job, whenever there's an issue with starting postgres.  I tried having it fail after 10 retries, but I couldn't figure out how to then let upstart know that the job had failed from within post-start, as exit 1 doesn't seem to do what I'd hoped.. an
