[00:09] Anybody home? [15:39] durrell: you just find the channel? or have you been here before? [17:33] holstein: I've been here a few times before [17:33] It's been well over a year, though [20:30] durrell: welcome [20:32] holstein: Thanks [20:32] durrell: are you in NC? [20:32] holstein: I yam [20:32] * holstein is in asheville [20:32] Live in Eastern NC, work in Morrisville [20:33] cool [20:34] Yeah, remembered this channel trying to fix a problem I'm having with 13.04 but don't know that I'll have much luck here either haha [20:35] i havent seen a support question yet [20:36] whats up? [20:36] I'm having an issue in the "final" form of 13.04 that wasn't there in beta [20:36] I can't run extended monitors unless they're the same res [20:37] I have one 1920x1080 and one 1680x1050, worked beautifully in the daily I was running for weeks..but as soon as I updated it broke [20:37] So I'm having to run both at 1680x1050 [20:38] Not sure if it's the Radeon driver or something more simple [20:40] i would try booting an older kernel version first. then, i would try a live CD to rule out my config.. i would try using arandr ..i would try a custom xorg.conf ..in that xorg.conf i would force the vesa driver as a test as well [20:41] Yeah I tried the older kernel version with the same result [20:41] Haven't tried new Live CD yet [20:41] if i were using the open ATI driver, i would try the proprietary one, and vice versa [20:41] Or any of the others [20:55] Might give that a shot tonight [20:55] It's annoying running at the wrong res
