=== cp16net|away is now known as cp16net [02:20] hey all... [02:20] i wonder if anyone can help me. [02:22] i've been asked by the author of the maildir patches (http://patches.freeiz.com/alpine/info/maildir.html) that are applied to my '+maildir' builds of alpine to take these builds down. [02:22] i deleted everything from my ppa [02:23] smoser: Everything should die, but it will take time [02:23] but he has found https://launchpad.net/~smoser/+archive/ppa/+build/4600057 . which still has links to binaries. [02:23] i did this last saturday [02:23] err.. maybe last friday. [02:24] StevenK, you're sure they'll eventually be deleted? [02:28] smoser: We can't reach in and delete the build records, but yes, I would expect the binaries to die and then be deleted off the librarian automatically. [02:32] and a week doesn't seem out of expected norm? [02:39] (not trying to be accusing, legitimately asking if that is expected). [02:41] I have to head to bed. Thanks, StevenK === micahg_ is now known as micahg [03:35] smoser: ~2 weeks is the normal expiry time === tasdomas_afk is now known as tasdomas === wedgwood_away is now known as wedgwood [08:03] wgrant, StevenK, what's the procedure to enable arm building to a PPA, is it a matter of pinging you guys? And if so, would it be possible to enable it for this PPA? -> https://launchpad.net/~qreator-hackers/+archive/qreator-experimental [08:03] dpm: see the topic :) [08:04] dpm: is it a canonical only ppa or will it have community folks using the ppa also ? === alexlist` is now known as alexlist [08:04] thanks czajkowski. It's not a Canonical-only PPA, it's for a project anyone in the community will be able to use [08:06] ah ok then it's ARMf and I can do that now for you [08:06] dpm: done [08:07] czajkowski, oh, wow, thanks! I was just in the middle of writing the request :) [08:07] saving emails is the new saving paper for my inbox :) [08:07] but you'll know for future requests [08:11] indeed, thank you :) === davmor2_ is now known as davmor2 === ubot5` is now known as ubot5 [10:18] mpt: are you alive [10:19] I've not seen any bugs in a while now! [10:35] czajkowski: he's on holiday :) [10:36] ahhh that explains it! [10:36] ev: with a passport :o [10:36] he got it back? I hadn't heard that yet. [10:37] I wondered :) [10:37] ah, I don't think so :-/ [10:37] he's somewhere in the depths of the UK [10:37] see I notice when he's not around you can tell him my bugs folder was lonley! [10:37] lol [10:38] you don't follow https://twitter.com/mptbugs ? [10:38] OMG NO! [10:38] things I make when I'm very bored [10:39] oh it's like a new toy! [10:39] lifeless: I liked the video soo much I've watched it twice already! [11:37] heh [11:37] whoops, wrong channel [11:37] but, is it possible to cancel a recipe build? [11:38] https://code.launchpad.net/~blue-shell/+archive/folderview/+recipebuild/471895 needs cancelling [11:44] shadeslayer: yes [11:44] could you cancel that please? :) [11:44] shadeslayer: sure you want it done ? === wedgwood is now known as wedgwood_away [11:44] yes, I uploaded it manually [11:44] and the i386 build will start in 4 hours [11:45] done ok [11:45] thx czajkowski [11:46] https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/PYTHON-532 < heh'd at that, hopefully, LP doesn't use mongodb anywhere ;) [11:56] shadeslayer: lol === matsubara is now known as matsubara-lunch === wedgwood_away is now known as wedgwood === Guest53397 is now known as nesthib [12:42] nasl is having persistent problems unpacking its chroot https://launchpadlibrarian.net/141166976/buildlog_ubuntu-saucy-armhf.libreoffice_1%3A4.0.2-0ubuntu3_CHROOTWAIT.txt.gz === matsubara-lunch is now known as matsubara === wedgwood is now known as wedgwood_away === cp16net is now known as cp16net|away === cp16net|away is now known as cp16net === wedgwood_away is now known as wedgwood === cp16net is now known as cp16net|away === tasdomas is now known as tasdomas_afk === cp16net|away is now known as cp16net [15:02] I wonder if so many people accidently assign bugs to themselves by just double clicking on the "pencil" icon by the assign name. It seems like "assign me" is right in the same spot on the screen. [15:28] bdmurray: i think the UI is just confusing enough that they end up clicking on "Unassigned" (or the pencil) and just end up assigning themselves [15:29] maybe there should be some type of confirmation then [15:29] bdmurray: there's also like 0 space between the name and the edit icon, so if you're wanting to click on the name, and just happen to have the cursor in the exact wrong spot on the right edge of the name, you get the edit dialog instead [15:31] i'd prefer better permissions support, so that we could just make it so arbitrary persons can't assign bugs, or change status; but i doubt anything related to this issue will get fixed for a very long time, as it's not critical [15:31] and lp is in maint mode, so only criticals are being fixed right now. [15:32] (unless someone submits a branch to implement something of course, then maybe that could go in) [15:33] indeed [15:33] if a patch were submitted say for the pencil issue I'm sure it could get reviewed [15:34] i really wouldn't want to just fix it with another dialog to confirm it, though. making the process harder to use for real devleopers is always a pain :) === wedgwood is now known as wedgwood_away === cp16net is now known as cp16net|away === cp16net|away is now known as cp16net === sebbu2 is now known as sebbu [20:39] czajkowski: lol :) === Guest97463 is now known as nesthib === cp16net is now known as cp16net|away === cp16net|away is now known as cp16net === Ursinha is now known as Ursinha-afk === Ursinha-afk is now known as Ursinha === cjwatson_ is now known as cjwatson === Ursinha is now known as Ursinha-afk === Ursinha-afk is now known as Ursinha [23:26] can someone grab the email for my account: https://launchpad.net/~md-5 [23:26] Thanks! === Ursinha is now known as Ursinha-afk [23:31] md_5: grab?
