[12:43] Band of Gobblers. [13:35] Morning [13:37] I want to crop (edit) a jpg, I can't remember editor names I may already have installed. Unity doesn't search "editor image" well, just shows programs with $$$ and they're not editors. [13:37] gimp [13:39] thanks, wish unity could do that. [13:41] not installed, maybe that's why it couldn't do it. [13:41] Is there a default editor in ubuntu ? [13:41] vim [13:41] gedit [13:41] nano [13:41] emacs [13:41] jpg editor [13:47] gimp === MutantTurkey is now known as UbuntuUnityOneBo === UbuntuUnityOneBo is now known as MutantTurkey [14:05] Good bacon to all and to all some good bacon! [14:09] I tried ImageMagicK (display) Once I found commands to load crop and save, it was easy. [14:09] i love imagemagick [14:09] very powerful for manipulating images in batch forms from the command line. [14:10] I noticed they mentioned that. Don't have that need at present. [14:13] it's awesome [15:04] Yeah, ImageMagick's options can be a little clunky, but I love it too. [15:04] Lots of people complain about it, but it's always done the job for me.
