jussipopey: yep, we were there 4 years ago, was great09:15
aquariusmarcoceppi, why is the logo on Discourse display:table? I think that that's why it's showing up as 1px wide sometimes. :)10:47
=== vibhav is now known as Guest85528
popeyjcastro: marcoceppi \o/ wp integration worked ☻10:54
popey(again)10:54
jcastroSweet!11:17
smartboyhwdiscourse is really interesting it seems..11:18
aquariusI think it's pretty nice.11:40
aquariusNot enough activity.11:40
aquarius(yet)11:40
aquariusalso, I don't get alerted when someone writes a new thing, because marco hasn't deployed the webapps stuff yet ;)11:40
marcoceppiaquarius: I don't know, that's upstream's doing :P12:05
smartboyhwmarcoceppi, so if this site is set up, will AskUbuntu be killed or>12:07
smartboyhw?12:07
aquariusmarcoceppi, ah, right. I am not totally clear why it collapses to zero width :(12:09
marcoceppismartboyhw: no, I don't think this could ever replace ask ubuntu. It's not even really the same format. It was started by one of the stack exchange guys, but it's meant to revitalize discussion boards not compete with stack exchange12:11
aquariussmartboyhw, discourse and Ask Ubuntu are for different things, in my opinion. Ask Ubuntu is about technical support, about asking detailed technical questions and getting a decent answer, and having people collaborate to find that answer. It's a resource to be looked at when you have a specific question. Discourse is about conversations, about discussion, about hanging out; it's a watercooler, as jcastro12:12
aquarius said in his blog posts (http://www.jorgecastro.org/2013/05/31/reinvigorate-the-water-cooler/ and http://www.jorgecastro.org/2013/06/16/watercooler-reboot-progress-report/)12:12
aquariushey, popey, are the "play in popup" links on uupc meant to work? They don't, for me :(12:14
popeyyes12:14
popeywhich browser?12:14
aquariusah, I lie. The ogg one works. The mp3 one does not.12:14
aquariusChromium12:14
popeyeww, the ogg one wants java12:15
popeyyes, confirmed broken12:15
aquarius(and the ogg one then claims to require Java, which means I assume that it's tryig to use the java ogg player... cortado?)12:15
popeythink so12:15
jcastrobuenas mornings folks12:37
* jcastro just earned his first Fitbit badge - 10 pounds gone!12:37
smartboyhwballoons, look in the cadence week 1 thread in discourse:P12:47

smartboyhwLOL13:14
smartboyhwdholbach, what do you thank will be good to add?13:15
dholbachmaybe a few more quotes and pics would be nice13:16
smartboyhwdholbach, quotes we can easily collect from community members, but pics....... I think I can go and ask the QA team for some of their testing photos (or Ctrl+C Ctrl+V from balloons)13:17
smartboyhws/balloons/balloons' interviews of Ubuntu QA members13:17
dholbachjust make sure they're the same size as the ones we currently have up on the community site13:17
smartboyhwdholbach, what's the size again?13:17
dholbachjust look it up13:17

dholbachthere you go13:18
smartboyhwdholbach, speaking of quotes: you want one quote per page?13:19
dholbachno, not necessarily13:19
dholbachjust where they fit in13:19
elfypics that fit - rather than pics for the sake of it13:19
elfyI'd assume :)13:20
smartboyhwelfy, sure:)13:20
smartboyhwWe don't put in unfit pics do we?13:20
* smartboyhw tries the new google maps.13:21
