FunnyLookinHatCan juju-core handle LXC local deployments?  I'm getting a error: environment "sample" has an unknown provider type "local" when doing juju bootstrap14:28
pavelwhich version of juju?14:28
FunnyLookinHatlaunchpad trunk for juju-core :D14:29
pavelI think here is your answer http://askubuntu.com/questions/309508/sample-lxc-has-an-unknown-provider-type-local-error-when-bootstrapping14:30
pavel In order to use LXC as a provider you will need to use Juju .7. The way we're currently doing this is you can install juju along with juju-core and use alternatives to switch back and forth:14:31

FunnyLookinHatAh14:31
marcoceppiFunnyLookinHat: Local provider in juju-core is scheduled to land this cycle15:09
FunnyLookinHatmarcoceppi, right on - I can test with 0.7 in the meantime  :)15:10
FunnyLookinHatCurious - when does this current cycle go "stable" ?15:10
marcoceppiFunnyLookinHat: I haven't the slightest idea, I know they've got another release ready to go soon and there's talks of publishing a juju-core release every 2 weeks, but as for when juju-core goes 2.0 (stable) that's still dependant on when features land, etc15:11
FunnyLookinHatmarcoceppi, Ah ok thanks :)15:12
jcastrohey evilnickveitch15:25
jcastrohttp://blog.smartbear.com/careers/13-things-people-hate-about-your-open-source-docs/15:25
jcastrothankfully we already are avoiding most of them15:25
evilnickveitchcool, thanks!15:25
evilnickveitchjcastro, i think we are avoiding all of them, apart from not shipping the docs with the software15:28
evilnickveitchwhich we could do if we wanted15:28
marcoceppievilnickveitch: which we should do to make thumper happy*15:28
* marcoceppi squints at juju help15:28
evilnickveitchmarcoceppi, I think we should. There are various other bits that need tidying up15:29
evilnickveitchman pages for example15:29
marcoceppiyeah, but it should be pretty easy go html -> whatever-format-they-want15:29
evilnickveitchmarcoceppi, indeed - that is the genius of whomever it was that decided the docs should be written in HTML15:30
marcoceppiEasy, you might pull a muscle patting yourself on the back that hard ;)15:31
evilnickveitch:)15:31

marcoceppireally <3 the new docs. evilnickveitch I'll have a merge request for the redirects against the juju-core branch by my eod as it looks like most of the pages are there now (and I'll be out next week)15:32
evilnickveitchmarcoceppi, okay, that's great, I'll try and pick it up later15:33
arosalesevilnickveitch, I have an RT open to get the docs deployed as you may have seen. But with that I listed no deps. Thus, could you work to get the navigation settled and then drop the jade ?15:34
evilnickveitcharosales - sure, I have been working on that, should be sorted by Monday :)15:34
arosalesevilnickveitch, thanks.  Could you update the RT with that, you should be on cc.15:35
evilnickveitchyeah, i see it, will do15:35
arosalesevilnickveitch, thanks.15:36
arosalesmarcoceppi, I am also checking where the redirects should live (you are also on cc).15:36
marcoceppiarosales: ack, I'm going to stick them in the repo for now, incase that's becomes a blocker next week15:36
arosalesmarcoceppi, ok sounds good. IS can also move them where appropriate if they are in the repo too15:37

FunnyLookinHatWhat's the command to see the bash as I'm deploying a charm ?16:56
marcoceppiFunnyLookinHat: debug-log ?17:04
FunnyLookinHatmarcoceppi, duh.  thx.  :D17:05
FunnyLookinHatI was looking at juju-debug and just realized that's how you SEND something17:05
marcoceppiPersonally, I prefer to juju ssh <service>/<unit>; tail -f /var/lib/juju/units/*/charm.log; but I'm just old fashioned17:05
