I altered them and its working like crap. Its by Dominic Mazzoni....I'd appreciate it SO MUCH! Trying to record before its too late here and without this right eveything is not going so well... Super annoyed. THANKS GUYS! :) (be right back, too) [00:58] crap, this happened last few times I've been here. Anoyone available for just a sec by chance, I'd be reaaaly grateful, man! [00:58] Guest85517: what I see on mine on first use is 24, 0.00, 150, .15 [00:58] (top to bottom) [00:58] oh thank you SO MUCH ovenwerks [00:59] it must be the default, i will try this and let you know if it worked, but i am assumingit will, THANK YOU [00:59] OK [01:01] I would imagine it all goes back to default if you remove (rm -r) ~/.audacity-data. [01:02] Hmm, audacity still has trouble redrawing it's menu bar after one of it's dialogs covers it. A resize seems to fix it. [01:02] OvenWerks: THANK YOU, it WORKED. My setup requires noise removal as a key effect until I get a real mic, nooo money, but this works amazingly.... my settings were WAY off. Too bad I recorded a song the other night before realizing the cause of the issue. At any rate, the help was so appreciated. Back to work! YES! [01:03] HAve fun. [01:03] You got it. :) === acerimmer is now known as cfhowlett === acerimmer is now known as cfhowlett [09:37] cannot run jack..says could not connect to Jack server as client... [09:37] any help appreciated.. [09:58] anyone using dvdstyler with success? === acerimmer is now known as cfhowlett [14:20] Andone tried to get compiz working on 13.04? I want a WM where I can have a window that can span more than one desktop - like if I move part of it off the right side of the screen I'd like to see it show up on the left of the next workspace. [14:21] sorry - anyone? I have sam spillaz' PPA, but ccsm seems to be broken and compiz crashes. [15:42] ubottu ping :( [15:42] x_x [19:21] holstein, I got it working again with the core compiz from the repos, or at least with webupd8's emerald ppa. [19:23] now I have a very odd problem with US 13.04: I have two USB soundcards and one build in audio interface. I use jackd on USB #1, alsa_in/out for #2, and internal. This worked great under lubuntu, but under US 13.04, after a few minutes (random interval), I suddenly get garbage coming in through the jackd interface [19:23] I can post an audio clip if anyone wants to hear it and see if it sounds familiar [19:24] And it sometimes will randomly go away again too. [20:02] it's like the alsa_in stops reading from the usb device and repeats its last capture over and over again [20:02] mbeierl: great under lubuntu 13.04? [20:03] its more likely a different kernel version, or alsa version.. not the switch from lubntu [20:03] mbeierl: what if you relax the jack settings drastically? [20:14] bnb [20:15] holstein, great under lubuntu 12.10 [20:16] holstein, it doesn't actually appear to be the jack settings at all. It seems to be something with the 2 similar USB devices. If I just use 1 USB, 1 internal, it's fine [20:18] mbeierl: i dont use multiple devices, nor suggest using them [20:19] mbeierl: i would ask in #opensourcemusicians [20:22] mbeierl - Failing which, the linuxmusicians.com forums ;) [20:23] mbeierl: lubuntu is alsa only === laura_ is now known as len_nb
