[15:33] <jodh> Pyretic: this must be ruby-specific behaviour then: no daemon needs to fork >2 times. I'd look to see if it is possible to run this service in the foreground somehow and then remove 'expect'. Otherwise, make the "final" forked process call SIGSTOP and specify "expect stop".
