draskoFailed to fetch http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/pool/main/o/openssl/openssl_1.0.1-4ubuntu5.9_armhf.deb  404  Not Found16:24
draskoany ideas?16:24
ogra_apt-get update16:24
draskoogra_, error still persists16:29
ogra_what release are you using ?16:29
draskoPrecise LTS16:30
ogra_do you have precise-security enabled ?16:31
draskonope16:32
draskoshould I?16:32
ogra_yeah16:32
draskoOKm let me retry16:32
ogra_seems 1.0.1-4ubuntu5.9 was superseded by 5.1016:32
ogra_ah, but it landed in precise-updates, not security, so make sure to have that enabled16:33
draskoyes, theser are bot enabled infact16:33
draskobut I did not have multiverse and universe16:34
draskojust restricted16:34
ogra_well, you are downloading something from main there16:35
ogra_so that wont matter16:35
ogra_you definitelly need precise-updates though16:36
draskowll enabled, still having the same error16:37
draskoErr http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ precise-updates/main openssl armhf 1.0.1-4ubuntu5.916:37
drasko404  Not Found16:37
draskoI did apt-get update, off course16:37
ogra_precise-updates doesnt have 2.916:38
ogra_err16:38
ogra_5.916:38
ogra_why would it try to download that16:39
draskoNo idea16:39
ogra_grep updates /etc/apt/sources.list16:39
ogra_how do your sources.list lines look like for it ?16:39
draskohttp://pastebin.com/vjMn97D016:40
infinityThere's no way that would persist after an 'apt-get update' unless you're behind a reverse proxy that's messing with you.16:40
draskoinfinity, no, but I am in chrooted ARM system with wemu16:40
drasko*qemu16:40
infinityThat shouldn't matter.16:41
draskoshould not matter, though16:41
ogra_hmm, looks all fine16:41
infinityShow me the output of apt-get update?16:41
ogra_i clearly see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/openssl/1.0.1-4ubuntu5.1016:41
ogra_and http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/pool/main/o/openssl/ has it too16:41
infinity   openssl | 1.0.1-4ubuntu5.10 | precise-security | source, amd64, armel, armhf, i386, powerpc16:41
infinity   openssl | 1.0.1-4ubuntu5.10 | precise-updates | source, amd64, armel, armhf, i386, powerpc16:41
ogra_yeah16:41
infinityYeah, 5.10 is clearly current in both updates and security.16:41
infinitydrasko: Output of "apt-get update" and "apt-cache policy openssl"16:42
draskohttp://pastebin.com/wGtmCbBe16:43
draskohttp://pastebin.com/eQ8uitpv16:43
ogra_hmm, any proxy in your LAN ?16:44
draskonope16:45
draskoAll used to work just fine16:45
infinityWell, that's absolutely not what's in the Packages files on ports...16:47
=== tassadar__ is now known as tassadar_
infinityFurthemore, 5.10 was released to updates 6 days ago, so if it's a proxy messing with you, it's a really, really broken proxy.16:50
infinitydrasko: rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* and update harder?  If you still get stale packages files, it's definitely a proxy between you and us.16:51
draskoinfinity, after I removed the problematic file the problem is corrected16:55
draskothanks16:55

srwarrenSo, I want to build an install CD (really an install SD card) for Ubuntu for my ARM system...21:31
srwarrenI've built the saucy kernel and validated it boots OK on my system21:31
srwarrenI've built a debian-installer image, both netinstall and cdrom (for armhf generic) and see that the installer runs when I boot with the initrd21:32
srwarrenNext up I need to create the CD image with all the packages etc. At the moment, I don't really care if it's server, alternate, ... just something (I only have a serial port on many of my systems anyway, so text mode and non-live is best for now)21:32
srwarrenShould I be looking at ubuntu-cdimage to do that? It seems to have all kinds of hard-coded SSH host names and paths like /srv/cdimage.ubuntu.com, which makes running it locally for dev/test problematic...21:33
cooloneyhey ogra_ and rsalveti21:55
cooloneydo you guys have any idea about the questions from srwarren?21:55
=== cmagina is now known as cmagina-away
rsalvetiyeah, need to check how that's done in ubuntu-cdimage/livecd-rootfs21:58
rsalvetiogra_ should know most of what is needed there21:58
rsalvetiguess you could create a similar image as done for omap421:58
cooloneyrsalveti: thanks, how's going? long time no talk.21:58
srwarrenrsalveti, yeah I'm trying to look at ubuntu-cdimage now. The issue is it seems a little tied to Canonical infra-structure, so I'm not sure how to get it running locally21:59
rsalveticooloney: hey, good, indeed :-)21:59
rsalveticooloney: busy with ubuntu-touch, and you?21:59
cooloneyrsalveti: yeah, i know, i'm playing with v4l2 camera stuff for Tegra21:59
rsalveticool22:00
rsalvetiupstreaming or just enabling it atm?22:00
cooloneyrsalveti: so you have a real ubuntu phone to play. hehe.22:00
rsalvetiyeah :-)22:00
cooloneyrsalveti: oh, firstly make that works internally and upstreaming it later.22:01
rsalvetigot it :-)22:01
rsalvetiwhere are the tegra 4 devices? :-)22:01
cooloneyrsalveti: hah!!, try project shield!22:02
rsalvetiyeah, that's a nice one22:02
cooloneyrsalveti: good device for hacking22:02
rsalvetishould be quite fast22:03
cooloneyyeah, definitely. will you guys come to CA for some conference this year?22:03
rsalvetinot sure yet, but we'll see22:04
rsalvetiwould be nice to have at least a sprint there22:04
cooloneyi met some forks 2 months ago in Oakland. but didn't see you there22:05
