Making one blueprint for each package [13:38] Seems like the best way to go, don't you think? [13:39] Non package projects get their own blueprints as well, such as website or PR, and things like that [14:50] or maybe I'll just use the launchpad pages instead, and just list them in the wiki. Seems like less work :P [15:22] I'll use both, what the heck [17:22] OvenWerks: Think I got them all now https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/UbuntuStudioPackages [17:28] next, the blueprints :P [20:21] zequence: works fine for me. [20:34] zequence: I was thinking to add ubuntustudio-installer as a part of ubuntustudio-menu. But I think that because we are widening the scope of use, it is better to have it's own package. For one it would allow it to be used to install the menu :) [20:35] basically, The package list to install would be on the command line. So it could be used for different things by adding a new desktop file. [20:36] This would allow our extra SW items to be used in all DEs. [20:37] OvenWerks: definately in its own package [20:38] I'd rather think UNIX [20:38] small tools that each do one thing well [20:38] it's easier to maintain too [20:38] I think [20:39] I'll start in my own branch and PPA to develop then ccreate one in SU-dev [20:39] and it doesn't make sense to have to install the menu in order to install some packages [20:39] OvenWerks: Create a project for it [20:39] OvenWerks: Or I can do it [20:40] I should be able to just push a branch [20:40] Hello people [20:40] cub: hi [20:40] o/ [20:41] * cub is still on vacation with poor wifi [20:41] OvenWerks: Well, sure. I can wait with the project, but it's best we create a project for it later on [20:41] Seems like a lot of people are on vacation now. Wonder why :P [20:41] cub: Where are you? [20:42] In Tidaholm, outside Skövde [20:42] renting a small cottage close to my GF family [20:43] cub: Pretty awesome weather, isn't it [20:43] my belly looks like a giant rödbeta [20:43] I forgot to put sun lotion on it the other day [20:43] very, I'm surprised with this Swedish summer. I was planning to read a lot and gather studio documentation [20:43] I have done neither. :D [20:44] Yeah, tell me about it [20:44] I also started dating [20:44] Been pretty crazy for me lately [20:44] ooh [20:44] How did the linux teaching go? [20:44] One of those dating sites. It works :P [20:44] It went fine [20:44] They liked me [20:44] I'm supposed to do another three weeks, but not sure yet [20:45] dating, yeah, I met my GF through shakemyworld site [20:46] four years later we have bought a home, car, got a dog and a daughter. :) [20:47] so, met anyone you might see again? [21:02] cub: Yeah, I did [21:02] and that's kind of the problem :P [21:02] but it's a good problem [21:03] hehe [21:03] it will limit time for other projects, that's for sure [21:27] ubuntuforums.org is still down for cleaning up? [21:36] running out of battery
