lagHi, a little help13:49
lagI just installed Ubuntu on a new laptop and UbuntuOne started deleting all my files13:50
lagI did have 800MB used, now I only have 500MB13:50
lagIs there a way to revert those changes?13:50
davmor2lag: are they deleted or did then end up in the recycle bin?  if they are in the recycle bin just click on restore there or copy them to the folder they should be in.13:55
lagdavmor2: There is nothing in the Trash folder13:59
lagdavmor2: I guess U1 removes them completely13:59
lagdavmor2: Sounds like s dumb design decision13:59

davmor2lag: u1 shouldn't they should be in the waste it only marks the files as deleted not actually deletes them14:00
lagdavmor2: When I 'Super T', I only see one directory, which I removed about an hour ago - nothing else14:02
lagdavmor2: On the online help it says that some Canonical bods can run a job to recover the lost files14:08
lagdavmor2: Any idea who might be able to do that?14:08
davmor2lag: one of the u1 support maybe able to help you more14:09
davmor2lag: you can file a support request I'm just looking for the link14:09
davmor2lag: https://one.ubuntu.com/help/contact/14:10
lagdavmor2: Thanks14:15

dobeyhuh. u1 doesn't remove local files completely. it puts them in the trash. only way they wouldn't exist locally, or on the server, is if they were deleted from that machine14:57
