cjwatsonmhall119: I have signed packages on my to-do list (as you can see from the blueprint), but I believe that submission to the app store will be protected with https + oauth - any signatures in packages will be more about making them more useful when distributed standalone00:49

newborngot problems.after the 2nd recovery step done my N7 reboot into android not the expected ubuntu touch :( . and open an adb shell the PS1 env is shell@grouper:01:20
mhall119cjwatson: ah, so we'll be able to match a package submission to a launchpad account for sake of namespace checking?01:21
mhall119using oauth01:22
newborn can anyone offer me some advice to solving the problem? additional info http://paste.geeshell.com/1002/01:25

bzoltanmhall119:  The click packaging feature is available for all series of the QtC, including the Saucy. There is a Packaging tab on the left where you van edit the pre-filled manifest file and just find the click menu under the Build menus.03:27

WarOfTheNerdHey guys, just curious as to how robust android devices are to screwing up08:56
WarOfTheNerdI'm guessing in the worst case scenario there's a ROM-based method of recovering, just want to be sure08:56

ogra_WarOfTheNerd, as long as you dont break the bootloader they are usually recoverable09:03
WarOfTheNerdogra_: I take it that can't easily be done from within the OS you boot even if you had full root?09:26
ogra_if you have full root you can always screw up things on disk ... (even bootloader partitions if that doesnt live in rom)09:27
ogra_so thats highly device specific09:28
WarOfTheNerdWhat about the Nexus 4?09:37
ogra_that has the core parts of the bootloader in rom09:42
ogra_you can always use fastboot to recover it09:42
ogra_rsalveti, i found the issue with camera and video playback on the SGS2 ... chmod -x /usr/bin/pulseaudio + reboot fixes it :P09:43
msimonshello, now that the containers have been flipped I'm looking to port ubuntu touch to the transformer prime, tf201, I've followed the guide here https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/PortingFlippedInProgress but i feel it may not be up to date? so far I've been able to build it so it boots and I'm able to adb shell into it but I'm not sure if the ubuntu part of it ever starts10:40
msimonsare there any ubuntu booting logs I can look at?10:40
ogra_msimons, what do you see whan you adb in .... does the shell prompt say root@ubuntu-phablet  ?10:53
ogra_or does it talk about busybox10:54
msimonsI'm getting root@android does that suggest that I've built for an unflipped build?10:56
ogra_that means you are not using the ubuntu initrd10:56
