toabctlI deleted a package from my ppa yesterday but when I try to upload the package again, I get "File puppet-razor_0.9.0.orig.tar.gz already exists ..."07:39
toabctlbut the file is not there. the ppa is empty: http://ppa.launchpad.net/telekomcloud/eisbrecher/ubuntu/pool/main/p/puppet-razor/07:39
toabctlany idea how to solve this?07:39
maxbBy design, you're never allowed to re-upload a file name with different contents07:41
maxbBecause this would break the uniqueness of versions07:42
toabctlmaxb: but I deleted the package so the orig.tar.gz should also be deleted07:46
wgrantIt is remembered forever.07:46
maxbYes. You're still never allowed to replace it with different content07:46
wgrantYou can't have the same version twice with different content.07:46
toabctlwgrant: so I have to introduce a epoch in the version number, right?07:48
wgranttoabctl: An epoch is an absolute last resort; if you don't know 100% for sure that you want an epoch for a very good reason, you definitely do not want an epoch.07:49
wgrantHow did there end up being two different 0.9.0s?07:49
wgrantYou'd usually rename it to 0.9.0+repack, or something like that.07:49
toabctlwgrant: I just used a wrong tarball for the first upload07:52

DarkPlayerhi, i have a problem with a git sync. The sync status is "The next import is scheduled to run as soon as possible." since 15 hours, is there currently any problem?11:42
wgrantDarkPlayer: Yeah, there's a roughly 20 hour backlog at the moment. I'm not quite sure what's going on, but I'm investigating.11:43

janimois there a way to get to private Launchpad branches with https transport?14:17
janimoI get redirected to branch/location/+login  when doing a bzr branch14:17
mgzyou need to use the bzr+ssh transport14:18
mgzwhich means you need the ssh private key of a user who's got access to the branch and the matching ssh public key on their launchpad account14:19
mgzthis can be a bot though, we do that for several branches14:19

janimomgz, I have ssh access there and access to the branch.14:27
janimomgz, it's just this is from a remote server and I did not know whether I should use my ssh key there or I can get away with https14:28
dobeyjanimo: i wouldn't copy the key to the remote server, but if it's a secured machine/vm, you can probably ssh -A to it for a session, to be able to branch the branch14:31
janimodobey, indeed I did not want to copy my private key, but I had to look into (Again) how to use my local one. Thanks for the tip14:31
=== tasdomas is now known as tasdomas_afk
mgzjanimo: I use ssh agent forwarding in that scenario14:32
mgznot everyone is enamoured of that, but it works nicely for this case, if you're logged into the machine with your creds anyway when running bzr commands14:33
janimomgz, ack, thanks. I'll just have to ask the admins to open  bzr+ssh in the firewall14:33
janimomgz, yes, logged into an internal canonical server14:34
mgzit's just ssh, so if you can ssh out to anywhere, ther'll be fine (so, just port 22)14:34
mgzIS are pretty anti-agent forwarding... but they may have another suggestion for you14:34
janimomgz, I am fine with any approach as long as it works :)14:35
mgzmost machines inside the firewall have access to bazaar.launchpad.net on 22, they probably don't need to change anything there14:36

cjohnstonUrsinha: ping18:11
Ursinhacjohnston, hi18:11
cjohnstonUrsinha: hey there :-)   is it possible to tell who accepted a blueprint for a sprint?18:12
Ursinhahmm18:12
Ursinhagood question18:13
Ursinhalooking18:13
cjohnstonUrsinha: we have quite a number of blueprints accepted for next weeks UDS that don't look like they should be18:14
Ursinhacjohnston, let me poke local launchpad to figure this out, a moment18:15
cjohnstonack18:15
DarkPlayerwgrant: any news on the git sync problem? Launchpad tried to sync but this somehow failed without an error.18:24
czajkowskiDarkPlayer: I'd be surprised if we saw wgrant on at this hour of the night for him18:28
czajkowskiDarkPlayer: he did say a 20hr backlog at least18:29
DarkPlayerczajkowski: sorry it's 20:31 here18:31
UrsinhaDarkPlayer, he should probably be around in ~5h18:33
