[01:00] hello... I have a rode podcaster usb microphone hooked up. It has an audio port on it to plug in headphones. When I hook up to the audio port I can hear every sound in the room. In windows to disable this all I had to do was mute the microphone in the speaker properties. How do I do this in linux? [09:02] Hi [09:02] I am mounting two hard disks on boot [09:03] well done [09:03] hi, i'm running xubuntu 13.04 [3.8.0-29-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP X86_64] with cgminer and 2 GPU. Problem is that ksoftirqd [ for both cores] + cgminer are using 100% CPU [09:03] when the pc starts it errors out as sometimes the drives are assigned difrent sdb/c [09:03] so it attempts to mount the wrong one [09:03] and fails [09:05] here is my fstab config for the drives : http://pastebin.com/iczRRYT2 [09:06] so assign them correctly [09:06] !blkid | hpprinter100 [09:06] hpprinter100: To see a list of your devices/partitions and their corresponding UUID's, run this command in a !shell: « sudo blkid » (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LibAtaForAtaDisks for the rationale behind the transition to UUID) [09:07] I like using labels for partitions [09:17] cool thanks [09:17] np [09:17] is there a GUI version? [09:18] of what? [09:18] auto-mounting drives on start up [09:18] you want a gui way of editing the fstab? [09:19] you could add mount options to xfce's autostart I guess [09:20] it has a gui... [09:27] xfce autostart happens later... after fstab [09:28] so it has nothing to do with fstab [09:28] but the lad wanted a gui so ... [09:28] it still works for mounting [09:29] with gvfs-mount [09:30] and that's not really graphical [10:18] Hello? [10:18] Could someone help me, i got quite the problem :3 [10:18] !ask | mojk2056 [10:18] mojk2056: Please don't ask to ask a question, simply ask the question (all on ONE line and in the channel, so that others can read and follow it easily).
