brian__Can anyone help me with an error message with zynaddsubfx?00:23
ubuntustudioHello, I have been here in the past to ask this same question, I've been having issues with it for months and months and months now - any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  Essentially when I install Ubuntu - of any sort - it successfully installs but than the Radeon graphics card driver apparently doesn't work and the screen just turns on and off after boot.  WOrks great off usb.    Here is my driver info: http://paste.00:27
ubuntustudioubuntu.com/6053323/ - also worth noting I've tried multiple times to DL the newest driver from Radeon site and the .run opens SO slow after 3 hours it was less than 25%, needless to say I quit out of that each time.... I've tried all the drivers I was able to find... and now I am unsure of how to even have these updates effect my actual filesystem on myPC - not just the USB, as I set up a 1.4G persistence.00:27
ubuntustudioLastly it is worth noting that RANDOMLY it will work after the install, meaning, the graphics driver just works, the screen does not blink on and off.  THe only reason it doesn't still work is I've had to reinstall due to other issues.00:29

brian__Does anyone know how to fix an error with zynaddsubfx and qjackctl?01:50
brian__In zynaddsubfx it says default I/O will not initialize. Defaulting to backend NULL.01:52
brian__Qjackctl may be the same issue, it just won't start.01:54

inahdyes sir15:13
inahdthat is, i do believe...15:14
inahdwent into mudita24 control, and turned everything up, still nothing15:17
inahdi guess the issue is running sound through the sound cards' RCA out15:26
OvenWerk1I take it yu have a 1010lt?15:27
inahdummm15:27
inahdm audio delta15:28
OvenWerk1Ya, that is what I meant15:28

OvenWerk1I think the 1010lt is the only one with rca audio lines15:28
inahdi have gotten this working on my setup before, not sure why its acting up recently15:29
inahdmint, avlinux, and now with ubuntustudio15:29

OvenWerk1I am at the wrong computer to look at mudita24 right now. But if you are seeing audio activity there you should be able to get sound out.15:30

=== HisaoNakai_ is now known as HisaoNakai
OvenWerk1I think you had sound going out to spdif, it should be going to the out puts. Or you can have the monitor mixer going out15:34
inahdii really wish i understood this stuff better15:36
OvenWerk1inahd: I find thinking of it as wires and plugs is helpfull to me15:43
