smbinfinity, You are still slacking on sponsoring (of course me, thats all I care)07:12
infinitysmb: You know, you could say something nice.  Butter me up.  Tell me I'm pretty.07:16
smbinfinity, You know after so long I think I have lost my sense of diplomacy. :-P07:17
infinitysmb: *cough*07:18
infinitysmb: Hey, we got your crash stuff in, one thing at a time.07:18
infinityHonestly, I'd like to get you PPU rights for Xen* stuff anyway.07:18
infinityProbably should just add it to the kernel set.07:19
smbinfinity, Oh yes, was that after 2 months of begging or more. :) Yeah well its just that I think I would love one or two real reviews of my approaches to weed out the small lapses that might have crawled in07:20
infinitysmb: *nod*... I agree that reviewing is sane and reasonable here.07:21
infinitysmb: Keep pestering.  You're not actually annoying me.  Just makes me feel bad when I can't always make the time. :P07:21
smbinfinity, So maybe I should try to get apw on the MRE ones as they are not that crazy / new07:21
smbAt least one by one. For Xen-4.3 its now down to a FFE :(07:22
smbinfinity, Heh I try my very best Mrs. Sophie07:22
infinitysmb: The 4.3 FFe will be approved, as long as you also promise to make sure deps/rdeps all work.07:23
smbinfinity, I am pretty sure they work as before *cough*07:23
infinityThat's some curious phrasing.07:23
smbI tried xcp/xen-api and it was not working too well with Xen-4.207:24
smband the same way with Xen-4.307:24
smbAll the things we found in rdeps at least now have compiled in my PPA07:24
smbinfinity, I tried to document that in the FFE (can give you the link if you want to, though I suppose you have a search for them)07:26
infinitysmb: The bug URL wouldn't hurt.  I'm scatterbrained this week.07:28
smbinfinity, vJetlag? :) https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xen/+bug/121881707:29
ubot2`Launchpad bug 1218817 in xen (Ubuntu) "[FFE] Update to Xen-4.3 in Saucy" [High,New]07:29
smbReminds me I had planned on vJetlag or vHangover for this week...07:29
apwppisati, moin, hows arm today07:50

ppisatiapw: looks good08:28
ppisatiapw: tested on omap, vexpress, calxeda cx1000 and cx2000 (midway), both generic and generic-lpae08:29
ppisatibrb08:29
apwppisati, cool so you resolved your calxeda issues without change to the code08:29
ppisatiapw: it was the conserver08:35
ppisatiapw: sometimes that thing goes belly up and i can't connect to some node08:35
ppisatiapw: it takes some kicking08:35
ppisatiapw: and then it works08:36
ppisati$omehow08:36
smb^ Does this mean it works like the otheros or by inserting coins to run08:38
apwsmb, :)08:38
apwppisati, heh nice ... i love quality (switch it on and off 3 times and it will probabally work) h/w08:39
smbMaybe they have to put a huge blender next to it... just for some motivational benefit :)08:41
apwblendtek to the rescue08:57

jsalisburyapw, when you have a chance, can you take a look at bug 1220616 ?  It sounds like 3.11.0-4 may be missing some modules?12:49
ubot2`Launchpad bug 1220616 in linux (Ubuntu) "missing modules in linux-image-3.11.0-4-generic" [High,Incomplete] https://launchpad.net/bugs/122061612:49
=== fmasi_afk is now known as fmasi
smbjsalisbury, I think that might just be a misunderstanding and the linux-extra package12:55
jsalisburysmb, ok.  that would make sense if the lowlatency kernel didn't use a linux-extra package and -generic did.12:57
=== jhenke_ is now known as jhenke
smbjsalisbury, I believe that is the case. 12:58
smbA sec, lets check12:58
jsalisburysmb, yeah, it looks like the modules may be here instead: http://packages.ubuntu.com/saucy/amd64/linux-image-extra-3.11.0-4-generic/filelist12:59
smbjsalisbury, Yep and linux-lowlatency looks to be producing only headers and image12:59
jsalisburysmb, great, thanks for the help!12:59

=== fmasi_afk is now known as fmasi
rtgsmb, yep13:16
smbrtg, Hm ok, in that case maybe you want to check the calendar entry you made because I changed it according to what I thought was better than a one hour holiday13:17
rtgsmb, hmm, I might have changed plans and just forgot to update the calendar. sorry.13:18
smbrtg, Meh, just the email sound longer than that and seemed to make more sense. :) 13:19
smbrtg, Anyway google says apw should return online soonish13:19
apwsmb, heheh move and lunch done... i am here13:20

WhoopieHi, since updating to 3.8.0-30-generic on precise, my dell laptop crashes on resume from hibernate. I could localize the culprit to be latest zram updates as removing the zram-config package fixes the crashes.20:24
WhoopieI found bug report 1215513 which also identifies zram as an issue. Could the ubuntu devs perhaps look at this issue? Thanks a lot.20:25
