[09:59] is there a version of the mythbuntu live ISO with 0.27? [10:00] I have 0.27 backend installed on my server, but I can't try it out because (I think) the version on the DVD image is different (0.25) === hpeter_ is now known as hpeter [11:32] rhpot1991: found the error was to do with lirc modules having moved in the kernel tree.... [11:33] sudo ln -s /lib/modules/###VERSION###/kernel/drivers/staging/media/lirc /lib/modules/###VERSION###/kernel/drivers/staging/lirc [11:33] perhaps you can update whatever mythbuntu uses to look in the right place [11:33] or get mythbuntu to add that symlink automatically when there is a new kernel until dpkg-reconfigure looks in the right place [11:38] and it seems every time i reboot, i now get a "Sorry ubuntu 12.04 has experience an internal error" popup window on top of mythtv [11:38] moaning how [11:38] mythlogserver crashed with SIGSEGV in QObject::disconnect() [11:38] i keep reporting it [11:40] what is the current recommended version of mythtv [11:40] i see 0.27 has left development now [11:53] also, anyone know how to put a startup delay on the mythtv frontend... [11:53] i regularly see the frontend boot faster than the backend on my master backend [11:54] giving a nasty error, and config box [11:54] pressing back a few times cancels it, and it can then see backend, but it would be nice if it could just wait a few seconds [12:07] wth [12:07] just upgrded backend to 0.27 [12:07] initially it said there were about 30 updates, but it could only install 4 as a partial upgrade. [12:08] now libmyth is 0.27, update manager is adament there are no updates, but everythigng other than libmyth is still on the 0.26 series === dahlSTROM|sleep is now known as dahlSTROM === hpeter_ is now known as hpeter [14:23] disabling audio: audio player archos error opening audio devices no such files or directories (2) [14:23] after an update from 0.26 to 0.27 === hpeter_ is now known as hpeter === dahlSTROM is now known as dahlSTROM|sleep [21:12] Anyone ever set up a Prof 800 DVB-S2 card? The only way I can get anything out of it is to use "scan" from the command line to make a channel list and import it. I can't get the capture card/input settings to move the dish or scan for channels any other way (has a rotor, USALS, universal Ku LNB) [22:12] Just to add a bit to it... If I delete all cards and inputs, and start over with only an LNB in the inputs, and scan a certain transponder manually (12053/V) it finds the channels and tunes them, since it's already pointed at 72W. It just won't move the dish if I set it up with a rotor and USALS.
