puffAnybody home?00:52
puffI have a thinkpad t520 with optimus, and a dock.  I'm running ubuntu 13.04.  I'm trying to figure out how to get the external video to work via something besides the VGA port.  HDMI port on the thinkpad, DVI port on the dock, HDMI port on the dock, any of these.  And/or get the extra video out on the dock working.00:52

xubuntu031listening gridcube15:42
GridCubexubuntu031, old cpus cant handle PAE enabled kernels, thats why older livecds or other isos from other distros might work and newer wont15:43

GridCubelast version of xubuntu that has a non pae kernel was 12.0415:43
