=== chihchun_afk is now known as chihchun [07:56] good morning all :-) [07:57] hey DanChapman [07:58] Noskcaj, hey there o/ [08:35] hey DanChapman [08:40] Good morning [09:19] Hey pitti, and jibel o/ [09:32] jibel, what does this mean "Not attempting to fix packaging branch ancestry, missing pristine tar data for version 2.17.1."?? I was going to merge lp:~dpniel/ubiquity/fix_1252215 and got that output :-\ [09:44] morning all [09:46] morning slickymaster [09:47] hi DanChapman, and a good one to you, too === chihchun is now known as chihchun_afk === vrruiz_ is now known as rvr [11:14] DanChapman, good morning, how did you get this error. It's usually when you attempt to build a package from a bzr checkout without a tarball I think [11:22] jibel, all I did was bzr merge lp:~dpniel/ubiquity/fix_1252215. And it displayed that message but still merged fine i presumed it was own to the branch version being greater than the latest source package listed in 'bzr tags' [11:24] i used a fresh branch of lp:ubiquity before the merge so I didn't change anything else apart from what was in the MP. === _salem is now known as salem_ [11:32] DanChapman: that's ok "missing pristine tar..." it's harmless and shouldn't prevent anything. [11:33] xnox, lovely cheers :-) [11:34] DanChapman: (long story, ubiquity is a native package therefore it has no "upstream" tarballs and bzr-bd isn't smart enough to detect that, and prints pointless warnings) [11:35] xnox oh i see, heh i spent an hour reading through bzr docs and wasn't getting anywhere :-D [11:55] hey everyone, Ubuntu membership board in 5min in #ubuntu-meeting if you want to support my application :-) [11:55] pitti, DanChapman xnox ^ [11:59] jibel, sure :-) [12:14] jibel: there now; sorry, was away for a bit [12:14] pitti, no problem, it hasn't started yet [12:15] need 1 more member [13:24] gl jibel :-) Waiting for a quorum eh === forestpiskie is now known as Guest75133 [14:52] jibel: welcome to the Ubuntu Members official team! [14:52] (just added you in) [14:53] jibel: uff. Finally you did it. [14:54] jibel: I am also sorry, I overslept. I wanted to be there for you. [14:59] hey balloons [15:00] hey knome! [15:00] better connectivity today? [15:00] we were drooling over your handiwork my friend [15:00] yes, no coffee shop [15:00] :) [15:01] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Xubuntu/Roadmap/ specifically [15:01] balloons, heh, ta. :) [15:02] we had a good session this morning [15:02] I hope this one proves to be the same [15:03] let's hope so [15:03] i'll be hanging around in IRC [15:03] excellent [15:04] and possibly watching the hangout at some point, if the other session turns out to be not so interesting [15:07] hggdh, Hey, thank you! Finally I made it \o/ [15:09] jibel: indeed. I will not ask you "why you have not yet applied" again... [15:11] jibel: BTW, you can go and ask for your Ubuntu cloak now on #ubuntu-irc === chihchun_afk is now known as chihchun === chihchun is now known as chihchun_afk [15:36] stgraber, what's the status on the visual updates for the trackers? [16:00] balloons, i can help with setting up the tracker if my schedule allows [16:01] knome, I think it's th best option [16:01] it needs some love.. And I'd like to see it get that love for this and everything else [16:01] :) [16:02] knome: I got a few of those done in a local branch but I remember hitting a wall when I was working on it due to what's possible to do from a Drupal block (specifically related to the result submission block). I need to find some more time to go and dig into the Drupal API doc to figure out a way to make it work. [16:02] stgraber, mhm, tell me if you need help with it [16:02] bbiab -> [16:03] stgraber, we spoke about using the tracker for exploratory testing [16:04] but there are concerns because of the unneeded structure.. I think folks get lost because of how the site is nested.. In the case of exploratory testing the layout could be much simpler [16:04] I would rather see the tracker remain the tool of choice for recording this stuff [16:12] DanChapman, ping [16:12] balloons, pong [16:13] DanChapman, is this time ok with you? http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-1311/meeting/22063/community-1311-quality-autopilot-image-testing/ [16:13] I should have asked directly.. maybe I did.. [16:13] it's UDS week, everything is jumbled [16:15] balloons, yeah that times fine for me :-) lol i did feel my presence would be needed when i looked through the schedule [16:15] DanChapman, yes.. indeed, you are a big piece :-) [16:15] balloons, I suppose it would be an idea to fill out the pad a bit before the session [16:16] DanChapman, well sure, filling out some detail is never a bad thing. You can see I've got a list of questions to answer [16:17] and we have the old pad to go through and review again [16:17] there's plenty to discuss [16:52] DanChapman, Hey Dan [16:52] Good evening senan :-) [16:53] DanChapman, Good Eve!! [16:53] DanChapman, I've made some code change and pushed it [16:53] can you please review it [16:57] senan, awesome! i will get to it as soon as I can :-) [17:02] hello Letozaf_, senan [17:02] balloons, hello :D [17:20] balloons, Helloooo... === Guest75133 is now known as forestpiskie === salem_ is now known as _salem === Ursinha is now known as Ursinha-afk === Ursinha-afk is now known as Ursinha === _salem is now known as salem_ [20:46] balloons: ping === salem_ is now known as _salem
