[20:13] martin__. yes [20:14] perfect. thanks for info [20:14] martin__. http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-live/current/ , this shows the current state of apps in the daily build [20:23] BluesKaj. thanks, i am downloading already. have you already tried those? [20:29] martin__. not this OS , I installed 13.10 to a separate partition from the daily build and it's running just fine , as is 14.04 which i sed upgraded when the chainloader was uploaded [20:33] good to hear that. [20:36] KDE is turning out to be a saviour for many former unity users as well. Unity has it's good aspects , but KDE is more flexible in many ways from what I've been told. I tried for a couple of weeks , just not my cuppa tea [20:36] tried unity , that is [20:37] never like kubuntu, but I did not start on windows [20:37] liked [20:41] One of the best things about Linux is that, if you don't like your desktop environment, you can keep trying others until you find what you like. [20:44] yeah and about 50 to choose from [20:53] I'm an old windows guy and KDE was more familiar to me as a desktop than the cartooney looking gnome desktops of the past , and i just stuck with the" KDE Look" due to it's easy and flexible configuration [20:55] if I am testing a lubuntu iso in virtualbox the hardware profile I chose is of the virtual machine right? === bazhang_ is now known as bazhang
