[09:48] dpm: good morning. I've been quite busy with the reminders app on the weekend [09:48] check out the progress :) http://i.imgur.com/yeSEhiH.png [09:49] oh wow [09:49] dpm: having an issue with checkboxes [09:49] dpm: can't make them interactive :/ [09:50] is this an html issue? [09:50] dpm: well, the TextEdit is not a WebView, but rather a textfield which happens to understand rich text. However, not tags [09:50] dpm: so my suggestion would be to just paint them in the text as images and have an item in the toolbar "manage todo's" [09:51] dpm: opening that would open a list of real checkboxes where the user can mark them as done [09:51] dpm: once confirmed, the painted checkboxes in the text flow would update [09:52] (note that in ENML the checkboxes are not either, but rather tags [09:53] dpm: other issues are and which just get rendered as normal text and
(which just doesn't paint the line all). [09:53] mzanetti, sounds like a good workaround. But this might be something to take care of later on, what do you think? It seems TextEdit is showing more limitations. I know we had this conversation a while ago, but do you think in the future we should move to a WebView instead? [09:53] My vote goes to "just ignore those 2" ^^ [09:54] dpm: no. you can't edit a webview [09:54] dpm: well, actually. we could use the webview when just viewing the note. [09:54] dpm: and only use the TextEdit for editing it. wouldn't be an issue to not being able to check/uncheck them in there [09:54] dpm: I'll give that a show [09:55] yeah, perhaps something like that. Use a WebView to show rich content and then a textview to edit in lo-fi mode :) [09:55] yeah. sounds like a plan. I'll check it out [09:55] dpm: I've also implemented the ux workflow... [09:55] dpm: which means. I've ran out of design :D need moar [09:55] awesome, that's a nice problem to have :) [09:55] dpm: latest branch comes pretty close to what we have in the wireframes [09:56] Sorry I didn't get to test anything on Friday, I'll spend some time with the Reminders app today and perhaps we can have a call later on [09:56] ok, sure === nerochiaro_ is now known as nerochiaro [13:27] hey , i accidently deleted source code of an app that was recently accepted in software center, can i download source code again from my ubunu developer account [13:27] killer: Is the source not on Launchpad? [13:28] killer: or github or wherever [13:28] I submitted the app as proprietary [13:32] :Rory [13:33] I actually know nothing about this, but hang around [13:34] nerochiaro, hey, when you have a moment, could you review https://code.launchpad.net/~osomon/webbrowser-app/ping-test-server/+merge/199093 ? [13:35] oSoMoN: ok [13:37] killer: which app? [23:51] ahayzen, pong [23:52] balloons, firstly... I was wondering what we are doing regarding autopilot testing of infographics (i.e. do we need to be doing this, and if so how would we test this)? [23:52] ahayzen, meaning, art images, etc? [23:52] actual UI elements? [23:52] balloons, as in if a track is played for 10 seconds the infographics gets '1 song played today' [23:53] ahayzen, Ohh, right! [23:53] I'm not sure if the shell team has a test for that [23:53] balloons, cause i can see many code paths with different possibilities like when we pause/resume etc...we probably want to ensure we aren't getting double increments [23:54] ahayzen, right.. why don't you open a bug for this.. I'm liable to forget [23:54] balloons, it was just something we found when testing a MP and wondered if it was worth adding autopilot testing if even possible [23:54] balloons, ok under music-app? [23:54] ahayzen, anything is possible :-) [23:54] ahayzen, yes [23:54] balloons, cool..right second question... After discussions with Victor we came up with another test, I'm going to add bug, do I need to get them past you before I add the needs-autopilot-test tag? [23:55] balloons, and is it possible for a few tests to be run with no media on the device? cause we need to test empty library states [23:55] ahayzen, what do you mean? if you want to file a bug that needs a test (is it a featurE? [23:55] ahayzen, yes, we can setup an empty media lib [23:56] balloons, we think we want a test for empty library state so I add a bug and add the needs-autopilot-test? [23:56] balloons, i didn't know if i needed to get authorization from u for the tag to get it prioritized? [23:59] ahayzen, no, no need to ask permission :-) However, letting me know is a good idea [23:59] I might not see it right away [23:59] balloons, cool thanks [23:59] but yes, open bugs, add the tag, let me know :-) all good things [23:59] balloons, last thing ...is Jenkins now back up and running?
