grant___ | I'm getting USB buffer underruns on 3.4 which I have to stick with due to the old binary video drivers available for the Pandaboard. The buffer underruns disappear if the system is under load such as when compiling a kernel. I have CONFIG_CPU_FREQ=n, CONFIG_CPU_IDLE=n, and acpi=off. Where else should I look to fix this? | 23:06 |

lilstevie | grant___, do you get a stack trace or anything? | 23:20 |
grant___ | lilstevie: I just get these: "ehci-omap.0: detected DataBufferErr" | 23:21 |
grant___ | and audible gaps in music streaming via jackd over the ethernet interface which goes over USB | 23:21 |
lilstevie | grant___, I would probably file a bug against the kernel package :) | 23:22 |
grant___ | it's fixed in newer kernels but I have to stick with the old one for video | 23:22 |
lilstevie | you could backport the fix | 23:25 |
grant___ | lilstevie: how could I figure out where the fix is? | 23:37 |
