Gokul12Hi. I am trying to install Kicad from the kicad-install.sh on my Ubuntu 12.04. Half way through installation, it asked me for bzr launchpad account, I created it, uploaded my public key, added my launchpad id in terminal, If I try to restart installation, it says "bzr: ERROR: No WorkingTree exists for "file:///home/gokulakrishna/kicad_sources kicad.bzr/.bzr/checkout/"13:23
Gokul12How do I get the .sh to restart installation now?13:23

Shoo6hi. is it intended resp. dodumented that i cant add dirs to a repo which contain .git/.gitignore files?20:32
Shoo6i spend hours searching for a mistake in .bzrignore files, argh20:33
jelmerShoo6: do you have bzr-git installed?20:36
Shoo6btw if i want to use bzr to keep track/backup of linux config/system files like /etc /boot, what would be the best repo structure?20:36
Shoo6nope, 2.6.0*20:36
Shoo6i think20:37
Shoo6let me recheck20:37
jelmer(see the output of 'bzr plugins')20:37
Shoo62.6.0 on archlinux20:37
Shoo6is bzr-git solid enough20:38
Shoo6?20:38
Shoo6btw i had some crashed throu unicode errors from @ or \ on filenames too20:39
jelmerShoo6: it's broken, I no longer  maintain it20:39
Shoo6what is broken, bzr-git?20:39
jelmerShoo6: if it is installed, it might prevent you from adding .git/.gitignore files20:39
Shoo6i didnt add them, they were there before ;)20:39
Shoo6regarding my question to usr bzr for system backup. when i want to have deduplication and space efficiency i have to put all host data into on repo separated thoutgh branches right?20:41
jelmerI think the same applies as with other data; if you use a shared repo you can avoid storing multiple copies of revisions20:44
Shoo6k thx just to make sure20:46
Shoo6jelmer: shoudl i go on with 2.7*?20:47
Shoo6-dev20:48
jelmerShoo6: 2.6 should be fine20:48
Shoo6hhm crossing fingers20:49
Shoo6btw it woukd be really nice if i could do python regexp when doing 'bzr add "RE:...'20:50
Shoo6the usual ignore syntax really sucks20:51
