superkuhHi. Does anyone know of a guide or reference for configuration of and compilation of the X stack (xorg-server most specifically) on Ubuntu? So far I am working off of http://edzeame.wordpress.com/2012/09/18/112/ and http://www.x.org/wiki/Building_the_X_Window_System/ . 20:39
superkuhAlternately, xorg-edger's used to provide the packages I need. But they were deleted from the repos after support for lucid was dropped (https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa/+build/1852863). If one of you guys happened to know where copies of these exist I would be very, very appreciative.20:44
mlankhorstsuperkuh: simply use the debian x repository with the ubuntu branch and build with the debian build system :P22:11
mlankhorstor use the xorg-edgers stuff22:11
superkuhThanks for the tip. I will try.22:49
superkuhAlready I've found better documentation using those search terms than I had previously in 2 days of searching.22:51
