DanChapmansenan good afternoon :-)12:59
senanDanChapman, good afternoon :)13:01
senanDanChapman, just finished everything...but have one doubt on window maximize13:02
DanChapmansenan ok.... why are you trying to maximize the window?13:03
senanDanChapman, in my laptop, the filechooser dialog is showing way below my screen..so autopilot not clicking the open button13:04
senanDanChapman, I just changed the compiz settings to display windows at the center of screen..so the issue is resolved.. but not sure if it is the right way13:07
DanChapmansenan hmmmm thats perculiar. have you tried using the test runner that is now in the trunk branch? it creates a pristine environment to run the tests. try your test using that and see if the window still needs maximizing. all info is in the readme file13:07
senanDanChapman, did you mean autopilot ?13:10
DanChapmansenan we shouldn't be adjusting compiz settings for the test to run. try in the runner and see if theres a difference.13:11
DanChapmansenan no in lp:ubuntu-autopilot-tests13:11
senanDanChapman, how do I do that ?13:11
senanDanChapman, now my tests are inside ubuntu-autopilot-tests in my local machine13:16
DanChapmansenan you need an ubuntu iso downloaded then branch ubuntu-autopilot-tests. then go to the root of the test runner directory in the config file change the branch name to your branch then run ./run-autopilot-test -T config/testrunner.cfg --sdl --test diskusageanalyzer ~/path/to/your/iso13:20
DanChapmanyou may need to install some dependencies13:20
DanChapmanbut it tells you what13:20
senanDanChapman, :D I didnt understand :D13:21
DanChapmansenan just follow the steps in the readme file in ubuntu-autopilot-tests trunk. im not at my computer atm so can't get to anything to explain it better13:23
senanDanChapman, okay13:23
senanDanChapman , ubuntu-autopilot-tests/test-runner ?13:28
DanChapmanthats the one13:28
senanok13:28
senanDanChapman, In setup.py I need to change the branch right13:37
DanChapmansenan nope in testrunner/config/testrunner.cfg13:45
senanDanChapman, got the following error http://paste.ubuntu.com/7102034/13:45

balloonsknome, yes, stgraber owns that one15:45
knomeballoons, yes... but that needs changing15:46
knomeballoons, why are you in IRC on a weekend?15:46
balloonsindeed, I pinged him about it, but it appears he's not had time yet15:46
dkesselballoons: if you are still there: ubuntu autopilot tests are run under a full unity desktop on Jenkins, right?21:19
thomidkessel: depends on the test suite I believe21:20
dkesselthomi: I wonder if it would require much to run tests for xubuntu on Jenkins.21:21
thomidkessel: shouldn't be too hard from a technical point of view21:22
thomijust edit the appropriate files so it launched the xubuntu desktop instead of the ubuntu one21:22
thomitests are launched via xdg autostart job21:22
thomiwhether you can get hardare allocated for those tests id a different matter - I really don't know anything about that. You'd need to talk to balloons for that I suppose21:22
dkessellet's see what he says tomorrow or so21:26
