jsfrerotHi All, I have trusty installed and before filling a bug report I wanted to have your advise on my problem. I have a laptop DELL E6430 with a docking station that support 2 monitors. I can properly setud my extended 3 monitor desktop using the "Screen Display" control panel, but whenever I reboot I loose all theses settings and I have to do them again. Does this look like a bug, or maybe I simply don't know how to save it?12:17

hggdhjsfrerot: I am not sure, but there is a way for you to find it -- and it is easy:13:12
jsfrerothggdh: ubuntu-bug -w :) found it thx ;)13:12
jsfrerotbug reported :) https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/130194213:13
ubot2Launchpad bug 1301942 in gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) "screen display not saved after reboot" [Undecided,New]13:13
hggdhjsfrerot: (1) open the "Screen Display"; (2) leave it open, and -- from a terminal -- run 'ubuntu-bug -w'. this will allow you to select an open window; (3) upon selecting it, ubuntu-bug will find the package associated with the program13:13
hggdhheh13:13
hggdhI will refrain from keeping on then ;-)13:13
jsfrerotthx for your help13:14

twirmis this a good place to ask about bugs in the 14.04 final beta?21:36
hggdhtwirm: this is a good place for you to ask about triaging bugs (this is what we deal with). For other questions, YMMV21:55
twirmmy sound isn't working in 14.04 after today21:56
twirmwhen I go to the sound setting there is no option to select the audio card21:56
twirmbut `sudo aplay -l` shows the card though21:57
hggdhtwirm: try #ubuntu+1, please22:09
