[02:48] anyone wiling ot help me with a couple questions about the pipeline plugin? [02:53] hi johnweldon [02:53] johnweldon: it's been a while since I touched it, but I can try [02:53] well, it sounds like pipelines are kinda like queues in mercurial and stashes in git? [02:54] thanks jelmer [02:54] I have another persons personal branch that I want to extend [02:54] johnweldon: stashes are more like shelves [02:54] pipelines are a bit similar to queues [02:55] jelmer makes senes [02:55] sense even [02:55] if I want to work off of a third persons personal branch can I use pipelines to do so? [02:56] i.e. I want to hack on juju-core [02:56] someone has made changes that are in their ~username/juju-core/branch [02:56] can I make their branch a pipeline and begin extending it? [02:56] it's beginning to sound like that doesn't quite make sense [02:59] why wouldn't you just create a regular branch in that case? [03:01] if my tree is already pointing to juju-core, can I check out a branch from someone else into that tree? [03:01] sorry just trying to learn bzr [03:09] I [03:09] 'm not sure if I'm following, sorry :( [03:09] sleep first, I'll be back tomorrow :) [03:09] no worries.
