[06:09] <alison> This was the case 6 months ago too. I breifly tested UbuntuGnome with 3.12 PPAs and that bug is non existent. I presume you're using Firefox ?

[13:20] <mgedmin> with the obligatory 30 seconds of inactivity where mouse cursor moves but nothing else on screen changes, before gnome-shell realizes it's dead and respawns

[13:49] <tony1> I upgraded ubuntu to version 14.04. when I try to rsync to my server it will start and then will just hang for ever.  other pc's will rsync just fine. no error messages that I can see.
