[16:02] no dget bulk, apt-magic and wget stuff are working [16:02] i'm not in the mood of download all the 108 pkgs by hand, one by one [16:02] -.- [16:06] nobody? [17:19] For anyone using Midori, does Adblock work in Private Browsing? [17:19] j0lly: The PPA's Packages file (in dists/) has Filename fields that list all the filenames relative to the PPA root. [17:20] caeser: I think you're in the wrong channel for that; this channel is about launchpad.net [17:20] gotcha. Since Midori is on Launchpad, I didn't know if it would be okay to post this question before filing a bug report. [17:20] Sorry. [17:21] I mean, this channel's for the operation of the website itself; I'm afraid there's rather too much hosted on it for us to have a hope of answering questions about any of it :-) [17:22] Fair enough lol. Have a good day. [17:26] j0lly: So for instance: for x in $(wget -q -O- http://ppa.launchpad.net/cjwatson/launchpad/ubuntu/dists/lucid/main/binary-i386/Packages | grep-dctrl -nsFilename ''); do wget "http://ppa.launchpad.net/cjwatson/launchpad/ubuntu/$x"; done [17:26] adjust to taste [18:33] is it possible within launchpad to copy a package from the repositories to a PPA, or does that have to be a manual upload by the ppa maintainer? [20:02] cjwatson, thanks for the hint.. bit late because i had to fill a manual list and cycle over it.. in the end took me the time to write down that fuk*n 108 packages :/ thanks anyway, i'll pin the url :) [20:48] teward: Sure, you can do that using the API. The copy-package program in lp:ubuntu-archive-tools has the necessary code and will let you do that kind of thing. [20:48] teward: (It's not exposed in the UI, as far as I know.) [20:48] teward: Just be careful with the options, in particular whether you need to use -b. [20:49] j0lly: Well, the URL above was just an example, but easy to substitute. [20:49] cjwatson, yes, i ment the expression :) === bradm1 is now known as bradm
