dhon_hi all00:53
dhon_I'm trying to build "KiCad" on OS-X following http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Kicad/Installing_on_Mac_OS00:53
dhon_it fails on step 2: bzr branch 'lp:~kicad-lib-committers/kicad/library'00:54
dhon_saying that I need to login to launchpad to "write to Launchpad or access private data"00:54
dhon_given that this is the recommended way of building this program on OS-X, I wouldn't have thought they would require everyone to have a launchpad account00:56
dhon_is there an alternate command that might branch this from a public location?00:56
dhon_or should I just login to launchpad (I might even have an account somewhere)00:57
jelmerdhon_: that's not an error, but rather a notice01:14
jelmerdhon_: it shouldn't be relevant since you're not actually trying to write to launchpad01:14
dhon_jelmer: I've now uploaded ssh pub key to launchpad and it authenticates okay, but I'm now getting: bzr: ERROR: Not a branch: "bzr+ssh://bazaar.launchpad.net/~kicad-lib-committers/kicad/library/".01:18
dhon_looks like this is a known issue though: https://github.com/KiCad/KicadOSXBuilder/issues/2101:18
dhon_however, reading that page I can't see a working solution01:20
jelmerdhon_: that branch doesn't exist - that's not a bzr issue01:23
dhon_never mind, looks like there are known issues with building KiCad on OS-X that haven't been addressed as there isn't much demand for it01:26
dhon_thanks for the help jelmer01:26
