[00:54] <dhon_> it fails on step 2: bzr branch 'lp:~kicad-lib-committers/kicad/library'
[00:54] <dhon_> saying that I need to login to launchpad to "write to Launchpad or access private data"
[00:56] <dhon_> given that this is the recommended way of building this program on OS-X, I wouldn't have thought they would require everyone to have a launchpad account
[00:56] <dhon_> is there an alternate command that might branch this from a public location?
[00:57] <dhon_> or should I just login to launchpad (I might even have an account somewhere)

[01:14] <jelmer> dhon_: it shouldn't be relevant since you're not actually trying to write to launchpad
[01:18] <dhon_> jelmer: I've now uploaded ssh pub key to launchpad and it authenticates okay, but I'm now getting: bzr: ERROR: Not a branch: "bzr+ssh://bazaar.launchpad.net/~kicad-lib-committers/kicad/library/".

[01:20] <dhon_> however, reading that page I can't see a working solution
[01:23] <jelmer> dhon_: that branch doesn't exist - that's not a bzr issue
[01:26] <dhon_> never mind, looks like there are known issues with building KiCad on OS-X that haven't been addressed as there isn't much demand for it
