[00:53] hi all [00:53] I'm trying to build "KiCad" on OS-X following http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Kicad/Installing_on_Mac_OS [00:54] it fails on step 2: bzr branch 'lp:~kicad-lib-committers/kicad/library' [00:54] saying that I need to login to launchpad to "write to Launchpad or access private data" [00:56] given that this is the recommended way of building this program on OS-X, I wouldn't have thought they would require everyone to have a launchpad account [00:56] is there an alternate command that might branch this from a public location? [00:57] or should I just login to launchpad (I might even have an account somewhere) [01:14] dhon_: that's not an error, but rather a notice [01:14] dhon_: it shouldn't be relevant since you're not actually trying to write to launchpad [01:18] jelmer: I've now uploaded ssh pub key to launchpad and it authenticates okay, but I'm now getting: bzr: ERROR: Not a branch: "bzr+ssh://bazaar.launchpad.net/~kicad-lib-committers/kicad/library/". [01:18] looks like this is a known issue though: https://github.com/KiCad/KicadOSXBuilder/issues/21 [01:20] however, reading that page I can't see a working solution [01:23] dhon_: that branch doesn't exist - that's not a bzr issue [01:26] never mind, looks like there are known issues with building KiCad on OS-X that haven't been addressed as there isn't much demand for it [01:26] thanks for the help jelmer === irsol_ is now known as irsol === rvba` is now known as rvba === alexlist` is now known as alexlist === zyga__ is now known as zyga === wedgwood is now known as Guest3097 === wedgwood1 is now known as wedgwood === seelaman` is now known as seelaman === BasicMBP is now known as BasicOSX === BasicMBP is now known as BasicOSX
