[00:20] seems is not ready to work with vmware drivers. [04:18] jmarrero: it only works with open source intel, amd and nvidia drivers for the moment [04:18] jmarrero: if you want to run it in a window on your current desktop, you don't need a VM [04:18] http://unity.ubuntu.com/getinvolved/development/unity8/ will get you setup to run it like that [13:48] mhall119: thanks but, have OS X in my laptop and run Linux on VMs and on my servers only. Have been like that for a year. Since I got the retina I gived up setting a Linux on this machine it just wont work perfectly, specially the display and scaling is a mess [13:50] Gnome 3.10 is the best desktop on the retina still, there are to much inconsistencies in the UI and a lot of elements show up all screwed up. Not to talk about the other apps that don't use the GTK [13:51] It was stupid getting this machine. But can't do much about it. Thinking on getting a Mac Book Air at the end of the year to have a normal resolution machine. [13:51] that is IF I can sell this.
