blake_rdesignated: I do not know12:58
blake_rdesignated: but tempita is used for templating so if it supports it then yes12:59
blake_rdesignated: http://pythonpaste.org/tempita/12:59
rvbajtv: would you be so kind as to have a look at https://code.launchpad.net/~rvb/maas/bootsource-cli-doc/+merge/221551 when you get a chance?  (This is definitely not urgent.)14:21
jtvQuite possibly.  :)14:22
rvbajtv: you're too kind.14:28
jtvMaybe.14:28
rvbaallenap: see what working with Brits is doing to us? ^ ;)14:28
jtvHey, don't say that!  Neither of us has apologised for anything yet!14:28
rvbaOh, right.  Sorry about that.14:29
jtvSorry for bringing it up.  Thank you.14:29
allenapGentlemen, the pair of you.14:51
rvbaJust put a tiny fix up for review: https://code.launchpad.net/~rvb/maas/no-dhcp-write-of-unvalid-config/+merge/22155815:45
jfarschmanIs anyone adding puppet to the preseed post_scripts in MaaS.  I'm really close, but some thing aren't happening.15:47
jfarschmanspecifically, my /usr/bin/puppet agent --enable;  line is not working, so puppet stays administratively disabled.15:57
jfarschmanSolved --- you guys probably guessed it.... improper syntax16:21

designatedI'm a little confused about something in the default preseed.  Why are both grub-installer/skip and lilo-installer/skip set to "false"?  Wouldn't this install both grub and lilo?17:08
jfarschmandesignated: maybe it next line grub-installer/only_debian      boolean true17:10
=== jfarschman is now known as miles_
designatedmiles_, but grub-installer/with_other_os is also set to true.17:17
miles_designated: I'm not going to pretend to be anything more than a hacker.  I suppose the OS is a facter in choosing which line is invoked17:18
designatedblake_r, do you know why?17:21
blake_rdesignated: actaully i do not, but I think miles_ is correct17:24
blake_rdesignated: grub will always be used17:25
blake_rdesignated: i think lilo is an old option in d-i, that must be set, so the option is not asked17:25
designatedblake_r, okay thanks.17:27
blake_rdesignated: the curtin install is now the prefer method of installation17:28
miles_Is it really?  I just finished setting up everything without it.17:29
blake_rmiles_: yes it is17:41
blake_rmiles_: it is now the default installer17:41
miles_I'll fire it up after Lunch.  Thanks.17:44
=== roadmr is now known as roadmr_afk
designatedblake_r, the curtin documentation doesn't seem to be comprehensive enough to provide the flexibility needed.  Read http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~curtin-dev/curtin/trunk/view/head:/doc/topics/overview.rst and the astokes.org blog link you posted yesterday.18:02
blake_rdesignated: agreed that the curtin installer needs better documentation18:04
blake_rdesignated: please make a bug on launchpad.net/curtin18:04
