[13:16] <Hauke> Hi I am working on backports and want to detect the ubuntu kernel because we need some special ifdef for the kernel used in 14.04 for a backport included in this kernel and not in 3.13.X
[13:17] <Hauke> the best would be if there is something similar to include/generated/uapi/linux/version.h
[13:21] <Hauke> RHEL extended this file and added some RHEL version number to it so we can detect that this is a special RHEL kernel and compile different code
