NoskcajMost just does session still work?09:43
elfymajor b/b issues here I'll be doing nothing 09:47
Noskcajok09:50
elfyNoskcaj: what does ^^ mean?09:57
elfyand I'll check it out later today 09:57
elfywhat should I expect to see that's different though?09:57
* bluesabre is around10:02
elfyhi bluesabre 10:02
bluesabrehey elfy10:02
bluesabrewhat's up?10:02
elfybluesabre: do you know what the Noskcaj upower ppa is related to?10:05
bluesabreupower 0.9910:06
elfylol10:06
bluesabreits something that we'll be transitioning to shortly in debian unstable and utopic10:06
elfyok - so not a fix - just an updated package?10:07
Unit193elfy: Patching all the things so they hopefully work with it.10:07
elfyUnit193: thanks :)10:07
bluesabreyeah, it directly affects several packages10:07
elfyso - basically I'm installing it to make sure it doesn't go belly up on us 10:07
bluesabrepretty much10:09
bluesabrealso gives xfce4-power-manager 1.310:09
bluesabrewhich is what ochosi has been working on for several weeks now10:09
elfyokey doke - I'll check it out later today then10:10
bluesabrecool10:11
forestpiskieNoskcaj bluesabre - installed PPA, all upgraded17:00
bluesabreforestpiskie/elfy, cool, any surprise issues?19:03
elfynone at all :)19:04
ochosibluesabre: quick follow-up, have you already submitted your application for uploader?20:00
andrzejrnot sure if that is still the case with 14.04 but 13.10 installer has allocated too little space to /boot partition. Every now and then upgrade fails because there is no space on disk for kernel images/initrd.20:00
ochosiandrzejr: i guess old kernel images aren't autoremoved when new ones get pulled in?20:00
bluesabreochosi: not yet, going to do so tomorrow after i get some things sorted out20:01
ochosibluesabre: sounds great!20:01
andrzejryup, removing them manually with synaptic fixes the problem.20:01
bluesabrea knome comment would be cool too20:01
bluesabre;)20:01
ochosiknome: ^^ pleeeease...20:01
Noskcajforestpiskie, Sorry i didn't reply, my internet broke, then it was time for sleep.20:06
NoskcajPretty much just make sure nothing is broken, especially session, which out logind patch hopefully fixed20:07
andrzejranother issue: flash-installer does not install the settings panel. Settings panel is needed to switch off hw acceleration. With hw acceleration firefox hangs twice a day (nouveau drivers)20:12
brainwashhow is that xubuntu specific? :)20:13
andrzejrIt affects xubuntu installations?20:14
andrzejrhmm, disabling hw acceleration in flash player does not fixes firefox freezes. Just had another one.20:35
andrzejrStill, it is useful to have flash settings dialog available.20:35
brainwashochosi: http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/im-xfce-power-manager-wird-ab-version-1-3-0-da/20:50
brainwashandrzejr: but flash isn't installed by default20:50
brainwashso the user decides what he wants to install20:51
andrzejrbrainwash, sorry, forgot that. Must have installed it on the first day.20:52
brainwashbesides, I can confirm that hw accel can cause some trouble20:53
brainwashbut it only should crash the plugin container, not firefox20:53
brainwashI guess the main issue is that firefox only works with the old flash plugin 11.2, the newer version for chrome seems to be more stable20:55
brainwashyou could also test https://github.com/i-rinat/freshplayerplugin20:55
brainwashandrzejr: oh, strange bug 133541420:59
ubottubug 1335414 in xfce4-panel (Ubuntu) "dropbox icon crashes permanently" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/133541420:59
brainwashI tend to change the target to dropbox21:00
brainwashdoes not look like a panel/indicator bug21:01
andrzejrhow to reproduce it? Is it sync-indicator?21:02
andrzejr(indicator-sync)21:03
brainwashdon't think so21:03
brainwashany idea what to ask the reporter to get the right debug info?21:04
knomebluesabre, ochosi: bah :P22:06
ochosibluesabre: did you ask any sponsors for testimonies?22:51
ochosie.g. dholbach comes to mind22:51
ochosior i dunno, anyone else that you exchanged more than 2lines with :)22:51
bluesabrehaven't yet, also on my todo... there's a few that have helped more than once22:51
ochosicool22:53
ochosithat might be more important even than mighty knome's comment ;D22:54
bluesabreprobably :D22:55
knomehuhu23:09
