yofelso... upower 0.99 + kde + systemd = OK, upower 0.99 + kde + upstart = no suspend, no device management05:24

Riddellyofel: how do you work that out? and isn't that a good thing if we're changing to systemd?10:12
yofelRiddell: sure, depends on when we're doing that, gnome 3.12 needs upower 0.99, so we will likely switch to it this release, kde can handle it, but for some reason not while running upstart10:13
yofeltesting is easy, take stock utopic, install upower 0.99 from noskcaj's ppa -> suspend is missing in kickoff and device manager does nothing. Now reboot with init=/lib/systemd/systemd -> all is fine10:14
yofelweird part is that shadeslayer added some upstart detection to powerdevil, so suspend support *should* work even with upstart10:15

Quintasanshadeslayer: Working on new kdeconnect14:22
23LAAW70L:) :) :) 14:22
RiddellQuintasan: awooga14:26
Riddellmouse control feature is cool14:26
Riddellif I was still at home with my projector it would be just what I needed14:26
QuintasanRiddell: That reminds me. The device browsing doesnt work.14:26
QuintasanI think we need KIO slave for this14:26
Riddellmm, worked when I last tried I think14:27
Riddellyofel: systemd working nicely with current upower though, best report to Noskcaj 14:28
QuintasanRiddell: http://qa.kubuntu.co.uk/ is down or it's just me?14:30
lordievaderQuintasan: Seems down here too (Holland)14:31
QuintasanOur QA server is down14:31
QuintasanNo QA!14:31
yofelRiddell: updated the bug already14:39
yofelsystemd works rather well actually, just updates are a pain with all the missing init scripts14:39
Quintasanyofel:http://paste.kde.org/p61j6csvw14:40
QuintasanThink we should worry about that?14:40
yofelnot sure, it's been a while since I've looked at that error :/14:41
sgclarkhmm, I can't seem to find anything to satisfy mockcpp, anyone know?14:44
yofelsgclark: that's for...?14:45
sgclarkyofel: plasma-mediacenter14:45
Quintasanlol14:46
QuintasanRiddell: It uses sftp now, I wonder what happened to kioslave14:46
RiddellQuintasan: yes the server didn't get renewed in time :(14:47
RiddellI've faxed off forms to the company14:47
Riddellsgclark: configure dependency?14:47
QuintasanBut man, the mouse control is hillarious14:48
Quintasan:D14:48
sgclarkRiddell: what do you mean?14:48
sgclarkRiddell: oh yes configure dependency, sorry still asleep14:49
Riddellgoogle points to https://code.google.com/p/mockcpp/   mock++ is a jmock-like generic easy-of-use C++ Mock Framework, creating a mock object by mock++ is virtually as easy as using jMock. 14:49
yofelif it's that we don't have a working packaged version of google-mock14:50
Riddellis package google-mock the same thing?14:50
sgclarkI tried google-mock and it still failed14:50
yofelgoogle-mock needs manual setup to be usable, looked at it for amarok a while ago14:50
Quintasanhurr14:51
yofelsgclark: which version of pmc are you packaging?14:51
QuintasanI sometimes really want to slap that kdeconnect devel14:51
sgclarkyofel: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-mediacenter/+bug/133459514:51
ubottuUbuntu bug 1334595 in plasma-mediacenter (Ubuntu) "Please update plasma-mediacenter to 1.3" [Undecided,New]14:51
Riddellsgclark: pastebin the cmake output?14:52
sgclarksure14:52
yofelthat's for the tests14:52
Riddellah yes ./libs/test/cmake/Findmockcpp.cmake14:53
sgclarkhttp://paste.ubuntu.com/7721695/14:53
Riddellmockcpp.h14:53
yofelyeah, that is mock++14:53
Riddellso quick way is KDE4_BUILD_TESTS=false14:53
Riddellyep we don't have it packaged14:54
sgclarkis that the right thing to do? I don't mind learning somethiing new if there is a correct way14:54
sgclarkpackage mock++?14:55
Riddellyou can look at packaging mockcpp, I've no idea how easy that is14:55
Riddelldon't spend too much time on it, if it's tricky just tell cmake KDE4_BUILD_TESTS=false14:55
sgclarkok, I will at least try, otherwise faasle to tests haha14:55
sgclarkthanks for the help14:56
Quintasank15:03
QuintasanI think I solved some problems upstream15:03
QuintasanRiddell: If we get a new release of kdeconnect today then it will be done today15:03
yofelkio wrapping for sshfs, sounds like fun15:04
