epicnahhi.....05:24
LinStatSDRHey hey, epicnah05:25
epicnahare you a bot ?05:26
LinStatSDRno...05:26
LinStatSDRim a person i promise05:26
epicnahcool05:26
epicnahbtw, can i install vmware workstation on a ubuntu cloud server ?05:27
LinStatSDRon the controller?05:27
LinStatSDRor like on the server that runs openstack05:27
epicnahno05:27
epicnahlike google cloud mode05:27
LinStatSDRIs the cloud server a VM05:30
epicnahi dont know. have you ever use the google compute ?05:31
LinStatSDRyes but are you trying to set this up on your own hardware05:31
LinStatSDROr are you using a cloud vm and trying to run a vm on a VM that happens to have ubuntu cloud server on05:32
LinStatSDRbecause you can't do that05:32
LinStatSDRno vt05:33
epicnahyeah.. that is05:33
epicnahi installed it and executed it. but error >.<05:34
LinStatSDRYeah you can't do any virtualization on the guest system05:34
LinStatSDRat least afaik05:34
epicnahso the point is " it is impossible? " there is no any chance for me ?05:34
epicnahi see05:34
LinStatSDRI'm saying that you could install VMware your personal system and run stuff that way05:35
LinStatSDRsince you can have multiple vms running off of one system05:35
LinStatSDRbut you can't try to split cores from a system thats already on a split core.05:35
LinStatSDRhmmm if its split maybe 32 bit will work?05:36
LinStatSDRcuz were talking about threads in that case05:36
LinStatSDRidk05:36
epicnahhemm...05:37
LinStatSDRdid I help at all?05:38
epicnahi have tried the qemu... but the CPU enviroment is useless. also virtualbox just for 32bit. i have 8vcpus and 30Gb ram on my own cloud. just wanna have fun with any experiment :)05:38
LinStatSDRokay you said vmware so05:38
epicnahty you are so kind05:38
LinStatSDRnow im confused05:38
epicnahtried vmware workstation too xD05:39
LinStatSDRso you can do 32 bit vms but not 64 on the 64 bit guest system05:39
LinStatSDRi guess that's okay? sounds like a bad time to me though05:39
epicnahyeah.. over 6 hours doin this stuff05:39
LinStatSDRThat's all?05:40
LinStatSDRNot bad.05:40
LinStatSDRThat would be kind of a cool experiment... Built a cloud (64 bit) then makes vms on the guest vms and build another cloud in 32 bit. a cloud in a cloud lol05:41
LinStatSDRMaybe i'll try that05:41
LinStatSDRepicnah: try this link: http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1663254.html05:43
LinStatSDRmaybe has some info05:43
epicnahon my way05:45
LinStatSDRSomewhere in there they say you can change some file in vmware cfg to 32 bit05:48
LinStatSDRbut everyone refused to test it05:48
epicnahyeah... looks like somebody has did it.05:48
LinStatSDRThey linked the the file and change it to 32. said, but you can try it and share your experience:D05:50
epicnahhttp://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r605/raranet777/aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.jpg06:01
epicnahi got this ...  no luck for me06:01
epicnah;\06:01
LinStatSDRWait where are the config filese stored06:08
LinStatSDRyou have them on another server machine?06:08
LinStatSDRAre they on that ubuntu 64bit?06:09
LinStatSDRmaybe network, try bridge instead of nat06:10
LinStatSDRgotta exit06:14
