suncokrethow i can install lxqt in lubuntu 14.04?22:20
phillwsuncokret: you need to add in the ppa from our head of dev22:25
phillwsuncokret: Qt5 has arrived, but do have a good read of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/Testing/14.1022:27
suncokretppa:lubuntu-dev/lubuntu-daily22:27
suncokretppa:gilir/q-project22:27
suncokretthis ppa?22:27
phillwsuncokret: yes, but use only in VM22:28

phillwsuncokret: VM == Virtual machine22:29
suncokreti don't understand22:29
suncokretcan i install lxqt like i install xfce?22:29
phillwsuncokret: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_machine22:30
suncokreti don't use virtual machine22:31
phillwjust do be patient as I go dig up links to explain :)22:31
suncokreti just want to try lxqt22:31
suncokretbut i don22:32
suncokretbut i don't need it22:32
suncokretbecause lxde works good22:32
phillwsuncokret: if yoiu want lxqt, use a Virtual Machine. LXQt is not ready for daily use.22:33
suncokretyes22:33
suncokretnow i read22:33
suncokretthis22:33
suncokretFYI: Currently there are many number of bugs. So don't try if you are a Ubuntu user with some purpose.22:33

suncokretdo you say me about lxqt22:35
suncokretor lubuntu 14.10?22:35
phillwboth will break at times... that is just the way it is.22:35
suncokretso22:36
suncokretlxqt still have much bugs22:36
suncokretand it don22:36
suncokretdon't work good?22:36
koellwhy not shipping lubuntu with midori as default browser instead of firefox?22:37
suncokreti will not try lubuntu 14.10 because now i use 14.04 and it is LTS22:37
phillwI run lubuntu 14.10 to do more than the test cases can do. There are a couple of people running LXQt in 14.10 as a daily machine. We only have so many lunatics (ooops, I mean testers) to actually run the systems as a daily system.22:38
phillwkoell: because ffox was found to possibly use lower resources... but quite simply., Lubuntu has to use a browser from the main repo, which IIRC midori is not?22:41
koellphillw: yeah it is from a ppa22:41
phillwkoell: no adopted system can use just ppa22:42
koelllol my firefox did crash a lot of times, same with chrome. no crashes with midori so far on my single core thinkpad22:44
phillwkoell: lubuntu also hides https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation/MinimalInstall#Low_Resource_Browser just keep it quiet :D22:45
koellxD22:46
jxshxxDid we get a fix for the double network applets, or is that still coming?23:34
wxljxshxx: should be fixed in alpha223:38
jxshxxwxl: Rephrase for the lingo challenged?23:41
wxljxshxx: yes :)23:41
jxshxxwxl: Ah, cool!  What do I need to do?23:42
wxljxshxx: update all your packages and make sure you disable all your current hacks23:42
jxshxxwxl: I've tried update && upgrade from terminal.  What am I issing?23:43
jxshxxwxl:  oops ... other than an "m"23:44
wxljxshxx: did you remove the hacks you did to get around the problem originally?23:44
jxshxxwxl: the only thing I did was add nm-applet to startup23:45
wxljxshxx: remove it23:45
jxshxxwxl: Nice.  Thanks!23:52
wxljxshxx: np23:52
