There was a guy asking the salesman about installing Ubuntu on a Mac and my ears perked up, talked to them both and might end up trying to get his new machine to dual-boot. [17:51] <genii> aruna: The plan right now is 1 week. They want me longer there though. Depending how my boss at the building is about it and if I can find someone to replace me long enough, I may end up for 2 weeks.
[17:52] <genii> I made a plan before to use my vacation pay time for 1 week there in case I got no compensation back, but depending on the cash flow from China end, may go the whole 2 weks, etc
[17:55] <genii> My visa application ( and my friend's) are all filled out but we want to wait as long as possible before submitting them ( expedited approval is 24 hours). Since they are good for 6 months and two trips for up to a month each, this would put our second trip into January if we wanted.
