[18:36] <sine0> hi there. i tried to upgrade to 14.10 and it borked me. its only a fresh install so i have nothing to lose however im struggling to get the ubuntu disk to boot so i can do a fresh install
[18:37] <sine0> i just want to wipe and start fresh again and stick with default
[18:38] <sine0> everytime i boot it just asks for my drive encryption password
[18:38] <sine0> hopefully i can just overwrite all this data on the harddrive with a fresh isntall correct?

[19:06] <BluesKaj> sine0, if you want to wipe the drive completely format it during the install , or use a live cd like gparted to format the drive first then try the install
