[06:57] cjwatson: Don't you need to remove --archive=ubuntu from the config file in https://code.launchpad.net/~cjwatson/launchpad-buildd/unhardcode-distribution/+merge/228114? [06:58] Or are you relying on the second option override the first? [06:58] The latter. Although that strategy is no longer necessary now that the master-side change has been rolled out everywhere. [06:58] Yeah. [06:59] At the time I wasn't sure what the deployment order would be. [06:59] Any objection to me nuking the Xen bits of BuilddFixing (i.e. most of it)? [07:00] cjwatson: Murder. [07:01] Looks like builddfizttzer is still marginally useful; it has a small number of non-virt-suitable actions. [07:01] builddfitzer, indeed. === danilo_ is now known as danilos [11:30] jelmer: Do you recall if the side-effect that I mention in comment #1 of https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad-buildd/+bug/1242796 is deliberate? [11:49] wgrant: including the epoch in the build directory name was not an intentional change [11:50] jelmer: It's not quite that. The tree is initially built as TEMPLATE, but then just before the package build it gets renamed to PACKAGE-VERSION as normal. [11:50] --no-build used to exit after the rename to PACKAGE-VERSION, so it never got renamed back to TEMPLATE. [11:50] Which meant that 'bzr dailydeb --no-build' used to leave a sensibly named directory. [11:51] But r158 causes --no-build to just skip the package build -- it still does the rename back to TEMPLATE. [11:51] oh, right [11:51] yeah, that's not intentional [11:52] I didn't think so.
