[10:25] Hello. [10:29] Good evening [11:08] How is it going? [11:09] Alright thanks. Yourself? [11:35] Good, writing an ethernet driver for the imx6 [11:36] With zero copy support for my thesis :/ [11:37] Procrastinating with triplanar texturing (six textures) on large terrains. [11:38] Nvidia broke support of -lGL in ubuntu, workarounds available but still a tad annoying. [11:40] That sounds like a lot of fun to deal with [11:40] -pthreads :P [11:41] Is this loco official again? [11:42] Not quite. They changed the way the official status works, and we didn't go through the 'reapproval' (or whatever it is called now) [11:43] We would like to be 'official', but we need a bit more activity to get there [11:43] Reminds me of that time I got in a flame war with Mark Shuttleworth about unity. [11:44] That definitely seems worth doing [11:45] I at the time was talking with devs about it, and it was just pushed out the door and terribly coded. [11:45] Even now it to me is totally unusable. [11:45] But luckily it isn't as bad now, it is easier to get rid of. [11:46] Well at least you can choose which DE you want to use fairly easily [11:49] I mean I generally just do it all through X. [11:49] That is probably the most disappointing thing about linux distributions. [11:50] They make their own conventions and you have to relearn things when you switch around
