ubot5Please don't ask to ask a question, simply ask the question (all on ONE line and in the channel, so that others can read and follow it easily). If anyone knows the answer they will most likely reply. :-) See also !patience11:01

LinDolx-Na, Hi :)11:10
x-NaI installed Ubuntu Gnome 14.04.1, gnome keeps asking for google account password, but does not accept anything, not the real password or app specific password (2-way authentication)11:25
darkxstx-Na, so I hear, only affect 2-factor though11:26
x-NaYeah, but is there a way to get rid of the password query11:33
DASPRiDremove the google account from gnome, that's what i did11:50
DASPRiDand it also affected me without two-factor auth11:50
x-NaBut I do want to get my calendar updated, just the password query is frustrating12:06
DASPRiDhttp://askubuntu.com/questions/284118/why-doesnt-gnome-online-accounts-accept-a-google-application-specific-password12:10
DASPRiDsee first answer there12:11
DASPRiDso a workaround is to integrate the calendar via evolution12:12
x-NaBut the weird thing is that it does sync my calendar12:15
spaesI upgraded from Ubuntu 12.04 to Ubuntu 14.04. On my previous installation I was using Fallback. Now I have installed gnome-session-flashback. Flashback works fine for the most part, but the look and feel is not as refined as when I fresh installed Ubuntu Gnome 14.04.1 on a separate machine. Are there any packages I can install or purge to get an upgraded installation to look like a fresh installation in flashb13:06
