[22:04] <C13L0> A friend of mine lost his job at the space center several years ago and couldn't find anything. He got involved with the local makerspace and started giving free breadboard classes. About a year later, someone through someone in the community recommended him for a job

[22:31] <mhall119> Nothing_Much: yeah, Jasper (magcius) and I talked about it, of the 2 specific examples he gave one is deprecated and removed from Ubuntu already, and the other has agreement between Ubuntu and Gnome devs on how to resolve it, it's just waiting on somebody to have the time to do so

[22:33] <mhall119> I don't know if it's a bug in Launchpad, but the patch maintainers know what needs to be done to get it upstreamed
[22:34] <mhall119> but I gather it will take a not insignificant amount of time and effort to make those changes
