darkxstderek-g, yes00:05
derek-gdarkxst, cool. gonna try it.00:06
darkxstNoskcaj, you might need to export GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR00:06
derek-gis it sexy?00:06
derek-gwhatever - gonna install it anyway:)00:07
darkxstNoskcaj, export GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR=$(CURDIR)/data00:09
derek-gI can't wait for this thing to be implemented: http://0pointer.net/blog/revisiting-how-we-put-together-linux-systems.html00:10
darkxstderek-g, you might be waiting a while ;)00:14
derek-gdarkxst, it's worth it. .. soooo atomic and awesome.00:14
derek-gdarkxst, and repeatable00:14
derek-gdarkxst, no more wiping my system once every 6 months cuz I want it clean00:14
Noskcajdarkxst, I'll do that in a few hours, playing dota now00:15
derek-gdarkxst, and chain-signed.... sexxyyy...00:15
derek-gLennart Poettering - you're a beacon of light in otherwise dark and dreary world.00:15

derek-gno? nothing? :(00:31
darkxstderek-g, what GPU do you have?00:47
derek-gdarkxst, intel Iris pro00:47
derek-gntel Iris Pro graphics 520000:48
derek-gdarkxst, maybe it;s some Bios toggles? hmm00:49
darkxstderek-g, that might need a new kernel?00:49
derek-gdarkxst, Im on 14.04 xubuntu right now00:49
darkxsthmm odd, that should be the same kernel00:50
derek-gdarkxst, I assume if xubuntu works - gnome version should too?00:50
derek-gvideo was working on 13.10 as well - I was running xubuntu on 13.1000:50
derek-gdarkxst, but I did reflashed bios a month ago... hmm..00:50
derek-ggonna reboot and look at bios00:51
darkxstderek-g, you could try 14.1000:51
derek-gdarkxst, um..... id rather stay on stable for now.:)00:52

darkxsteven just test with the live cd00:53
derek-gdarkxst, it works in vitualbox on this computer even00:53
darkxstderek-g, that is irrelevant, virtualbox has its own virtual GPU00:54
derek-gdarkxst, yeah. I thought so.00:55
darkxstls01:20
darkxstNoskcaj, you may need to run the tests in autopkgtest (like  I do with tracker, libmediaart etc)01:28
Noskcajok, i'll do that. still playing dota01:46

Noskcajdarkxst, Any idea what's still missing? https://launchpadlibrarian.net/185326648/buildlog_ubuntu-utopic-amd64.gnome-weather_3.13.92-0ubuntu1~utopic5_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz02:24
derek-gdarkxst, naah. install didn't work for me. no idea why.02:36
derek-gdarkxst, seems like similar problem: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=223182402:36
derek-gim gonna try 14.04 instead of 14.04.0102:43
derek-gIt seems like this person here is having exactly the same problem I'm having: http://askubuntu.com/questions/489178/kernal-panic-on-fresh-14-04-install-on-barebone-brix-pro-i5-4570r03:13
derek-gAnd he's solving it by using different kernel somehow...03:14
derek-gBut how can I use a different kernel for a new install?03:14
darkxstNoskcaj, for autopkgtests you leave the tests disable during package build03:15
Noskcajjust turn of dh_auto_test?03:16
darkxstNoskcaj, yep03:16
Noskcajok03:16
darkxstNoskcaj, you will need deps on gir1.2-geocodeglib-1.0 gir1.2-gnomedesktop-3.0 in debian/tests/control03:20
Noskcajty03:20
darkxstand you will need to test locally, since autopkgtests don't run on ppa builders03:20
darkxstNoskcaj, http://packaging.ubuntu.com/html/auto-pkg-test.html03:21
NoskcajI probably lack the internet to do that, but i'll try it later03:22
darkxstalso other deps, that are only required for tests should go into debian/tests/control03:25
Noskcajdarkxst, The one in ppa:noskcaj/build should be done, i don't think i'll be able to get the autopkgtest stuff ran locally04:25
GlaceonGhttp://i.imgur.com/KO7xXgF.png Shadow's glitched on multiple applicatings, currently using [GNOME 3.12.3] on [Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS 32-bit]. Any solution?05:18
GlaceonGThanks for the help.05:42
darkxstNoskcaj, tests are not passing06:30
darkxstNoskcaj, it might require internet access ;(06:34

ricotzl3on, thanks17:54
persistoHi, I just switched from Windows 8.1 to Ubuntu Gnome. I asked this question earlier but I got no response so I am back. I want to ensure that when I lock my computer the lock screen does not display the username of the logged in user. To be clear I am not talking about the initial login screen. I have already changed the settings so that login requires both username and password to login.20:48
persistoBut once I am logged in and lock the machine and then unlock it. It shows my username. I want it to re-prompt for the username. Any help wil be much appreciated. Thank you.20:48
