thumperwaigani: are you going to put that up on review board too?22:14
waiganithumper: okay22:16
thumperwaigani: thanks22:38
thumperwaigani, menn0: We'll have to have a lightning fast standup today, as I have to leave at about 11:0522:40
waiganithumper, sorry for the delay. I had to install python-virtualenv, create a virtualenviron, download rbt tools, create an alias to rbt tools, follow the new list of pre-pull-request steps, put in username and oauth. ... oh and then I forgot to publish the pr.22:41
waiganithumper, menn0 I can do now? Just let me get a coffee22:42
waiganithumper, menn0, davecheney got my coffee. early standup or not?22:48
thumperdavecheney: can you do the standup a little early?22:48

menn0wallyworld_: does the CI blocker ring any bells for you? it looks related to what axw has been working on to me. Bug 1371605.23:02
mupBug #1371605: HP Bootstrap fails: no endpoints known for service type: product-streams <bootstrap> <ci> <hp-cloud> <regression> <streams> <juju-core:Triaged> <https://launchpad.net/bugs/1371605>23:02
wallyworld_um, not sure, still getting through email, so didn't notice there was a blocker yet. i'll have a read of the bug23:03
wallyworld_menn0: that's a hp loud issue23:04
wallyworld_at first read, their keystone catalog is not set up correctly23:04
menn0wallyworld_: ok so should it be blocking CI then?23:04
wallyworld_i have no idea why it was marked as a blocker23:04
menn0ok23:04
wallyworld_let me take a little more of a closer look23:04

wallyworld_menn0: yep, hp cloud 's configuration is at fault, i'll update the bug23:07
menn0wallyworld_: sweet23:07
wallyworld_menn0: bug marked as Invalid, so hopefullt bot unblocked23:11
menn0wallyworld_: thanks23:11
wallyworld_np23:11
menn0wallyworld_: in a HA env where a state server dies, is it expected that you need to run ensure-availability twice to remove the dead state server from state?23:38
menn0I ran it once and it marked the dead one as "no-vote" and created a new state server to replace it23:38
wallyworld_menn0: i'm not sure, but that doesn't sound right to me23:39
menn0and ran it again to have it removed from the set of state servers23:39
wallyworld_maybe it was done like that to allow the dead one to come back23:39
menn0and only at that point could I remove-machine it23:39
menn0wallyworld_: fair enough23:39
wallyworld_we'd have to check with nate I think23:39
menn0dealing with dead state server is non-obvious. it took me a while to figure out how to do it.23:40
menn0wallyworld_: I might submit a documentation update23:40
wallyworld_sounds good23:40
