I'm trying to set up kerberos, and seem to be stuck with somewhere with my krb5.conf. kadmin complains about some "missing parameters" in krb5.conf . Saydly it is quite tight-lipped about what this might be. http://pastie.org/9581688 i posted some output on there. i can get kinit on the server and the client, so i guess actually the stuff would be working. I'm glad for any [17:45] hint. Google this didn't really help me so far [17:45] using ubuntu 14.04 [17:47] and ubuntu 14.04 based mint on the client. === arrrghhhAWAY is now known as arrrghhh [20:19] anyone knows what I could do about libkmod: ERROR ../libkmod/libkmod-module.c:1619 kmod_module_new_from_loaded: could not open /proc/modules: No such file or directory ? [20:20] appears on my freshly installed ubuntu 14.10 [20:20] the server is dedicated hardware if that matters. [20:33] Fohlen: possibly a bug - 14.10 is still in development - why not 14.04? [20:34] RoyK: i need a custom environment [20:35] And custom excludes 14.04? [20:35] Fohlen: can't hrlp you there [20:35] eh [20:35] Fohlen: Sounds as if the init system' has mounted /proc from "/lib/init/fstab" [20:35] with more recent modules :D [20:38] Fohlen: Why not 14.04 with a mainline kernel package from the Mainline PPA ? [20:38] TJ-: i didn't knew 14.10 is buggy -.- [20:40] Fohlen: It's in development - breakage should be expected [20:58] Hey guys, im setting up a small home email server SMTP and IMAP. everything works fine on my LAN. but not over the internet. I am using dovecot and postfix. I have ports 25 and 143 and 993 open on my FW, and a packet capture is showing me that IMAP packets are being replied to when thunderbird kicks off looking for paramters, but I keep seeing RST, ACK from the SMTP port 25. Anyone know what i might be missing on postfix to allow SM [20:58] TP connections over the internet? I am doing TLS W/ PLAIN auth its like postfix doesnt want to accept outgoing connections from NON-LAN ips. [20:58] TJ-: anything I can do about it? [20:58] Can't install any more custom kernel modules *mkaay* [20:58] or load them [20:58] :D === Lcawte is now known as Lcawte|Away === jml_ is now known as jml === rurkowce is now known as Guest68225 === _thumper_ is now known as thumper === thumper is now known as thumper-afk === superspring_ is now known as superspring
