[16:35] Hi, I have a problem with current ubuntu kernel 3.13.0-36 and enabled hyper-threading on i7 cpu. It seems that scheduler often assign two cpu intesive threads to two logical CPU cores which share same physical_id. This results in very bad performance [16:38] Imho the scheduler in the kernel should be SMT aware so this situation should never happen!? [18:26] !OPS [18:26] Help! lamont, zul, T-Bone, mdz, or jdub
